I'm making this Invasion map, and I made a non-working covenant Spirit (Dropship). I wanted it to appear on the third stage, so I set it to spawn sequence three, and made spawn at start false. I then got off, and when I got off to edit it further the Spirit doesn't appear. How can I make it appear to continue editing it?
I think the problem is you set spawn at start to false, so it wont appear. Id set its label to Inv_Vehicle, spawn sequence 3, and spawn at start true(if it appears early in invasion, you may need to make it false). This way it will be like the banshee at boneyard and spire, it wont appear until the 3rd phase
That's a doozy. If you set something to spawn at start at false, and have it so it'll only spawn in the third phase of Invasion, I can't really see any other way of fixing it, apart from using delete all to get rid of it and perhaps start again...
Go into Basic Editing and wait for it to spawn. It should pop up as long as it has a spawn time other than Never. If it doesn't ever appear, spawn one of each object type used in building this thing, and change the Min for each one to be the same as the max - that will force them all to spawn. Once you get them to appear, change their labels to None and spawn at start to True, then re-open the map in Invasion and re-label them properly.
"NEVER" is the default respawn time for structure objects, and to the best of my knowledge, the min-max trick does not force Never-spawning items to respawn in Reach (even though it did in Halo 3). So I don't think the OP will be able to recover their Forged structure (unless they changed the spawn time). They should still try your suggestions just in case I'm wrong, but I think that in the end they'll have to use Delete All Of These to recover the pieces (and their cost toward the budget) and build the Spirit again.
