Trismegistus, second map in the ENDGAME map pack. Before I go into detail on this beauty lets take a look back at the original version. That map was posted eons ago on forgehub. While I had positive feedback on the original, I could still see minor flaws that created poor player traffic on team slayer. After hundreds of concepts I came up with this, the crown jewel of all maps I have created. Here is the weapon list with locations and spawn times 1 x Rocket launcher (180 sec) under waterfall, 1 clip (team only) 1 x Sniper Rifle (120 sec) outer balcony on XL bridge (Team only) 4 x DMR 2 X AR 2 x Plasma pistol (60 secs at observation window and outer docks) 2 x Needle Rifle 1 x Overshield (ffa only, 150 sec) in center room 1 x Evade (120) in center room opposite wall of waterfalls 2 x PGrenade (45 sec at outdoor teleporter) Red team spawn and silent lift Blue team spawn Outer dock and balcony (sniper location) Observation Deck (Teleporter location, 2way) Outside teleporter and Sniper Location Center room Tactical jumps, watch each image carefully There you have it, Trismegistus in a nutshell, future versions maybe made for gameplay considerations but it shall be the final layout design. because please Send Feed back please for it is vital for I plan to submit this to matchmaking. UPDATE: After some careful editing I feel I have reduced framerate lagg enough where it should not be apparent. Thank you for all your feedback and some of the playtesting from others, I will stand by my statement as this is my crown jewel because I have put so much time on this. there shall be a photo update later on as soon as I get the time to do so.
I remember testing the old version a long time ago and liking most of it, though this looks way better. I can't really tell if this is more of a 1 or 2 flag map, it's asymmetrical yet not entirely, so maybe it could play either one? I like to Tac jump in the last pic, they always make me happy. Sweet map, really reminds me of some Human-Forerunner merged building.
It can support both neutral flag and multi flag. Although the gameplay has not been tested by me I had people from Xforgery test out the map and they said it had no flaws, gameplay, aesthetics and gameflow were perfect to them. Thank you for your reply.
the map looks beautiful from afar. but your spawn placements are a bit off. there are some parts of the map that you didnt put a spawn in.
You release a map you haven't tested yourself at all? And on top of that, you call it "Your crown jewel" without even knowing how it plays. Disgraceful. Also, why did you have to release them all individually? I reckon it is a map pack after all, and that would have been better off posting it in one single thread, rather than cluttering the entire front page and moving everything down and away to second page.

I meant I did not test the gameplay on two flag and neutral flag, sorry for that misunderstanding but there is no need to get rowdy over it. If you got nothing CONSTRUCTIVE to say then please don't post anything at all, I meant it being "The crown jewel" because I put the hardest work into it. So before you start talking crap ACTUALLY PLAY THE MAP OR GFTO THE FORUMS. And sorry jdino! I feel bad considering you worked really hard on that, I wasn't actually sure if you could do it all in one post for I had 10 pics for each post. Replace steep ramps with normal ones. Remove glass structure from teleporter. Put the teleporter on the oustide closer to the center of the map and not as far out as it is now. Ie, make the route to it shorter.
Lol I like it when I do what you said before reading your post, anyway about the 2 way tele the blue team can actually get to it just as fast if you used the tact jumps that I displayed earlier. Also, the steep's stay as they provide cover for the blue team when defending flag as red team has a slight height advantage, otherwise those would be normal ramps. Also I could not see the framerate lagg BECAUSE halo reach is installed on my harddrive. Of all things that drives me nuts to know bungie pulled a stunt like that. I have taken the time to change the viewing window out for something different. I have ran the times on the 2-ways again and again and they are fair for both teams. I also noticed that at the 2-way near red team spawn it felt very cramped so I did take the liberty to open that area up, I will be doing a secondary post later on on the future with another map pack to let everybody know changes have been made, the newer version shall be on my fileshare shortly.
