Holy ****. That's the most amazingly badass thing I've ever seen. I might actually play an Argonian in Skyrim.
i think i may have just jizzed my pants... that's the third time skyrim has made me do that. i still choose argonian over all the over races.
And there's still more to ***! (hehe.) Bethesda gave around twelve journalists a short "do whatever you want" demo and promised to send them pictures of each of their characters later, but the damned journalists are taking their time getting everything done! We've only seen about half of the images that are to be released!
I'll be going argonian too. They just look so god damn badass. I can't wait to see how character creation is. They said it was a lot more fleshy and open this time around, so I can't ****ing wait to see how that ends up.
I like that the body is slightly adjustable this time. Nothing too detailed, but having a bulkier or skinnier character makes a big difference. From what I've heard, there are a lot of sliders like Oblivion, but you may not have the same degree of freedom. While you may have been able to create a realistic face that even looks like your own, most faces in Oblivion had too much potential to look awful. I suspect Skyrim is toning things down a bit to avoid this problem.
what are these two? i assume the first is an elf obviously, but he doesnt really look like a high elf or wood elf. his features look more dark elf but hes like white. and the second i guess is just some human race with a tat. also, the orc has much more human features than in oblivion. also also, khajiit looks more badass than argonian. plus argonians are slack jawed pieces of crap who cant do anything. whatever type of character you want to play, theres a better race than argonian for it.
Every time I find one of these I'm visually stunned! The second one I just posted there, honestly, I was more impressed by the building behind him. I cannot wait for this game.
Wow, the Argonian looks like a T-Rex or a dragon man or something! Wait...Dragon man...Dragonborn... Obviously Argonian is the only species that you can play in this game cannonically. All others don't fit as well. I mean, they used a human for the demos so I guess they can fit, and possibly so could elves. But deffinately not Kahjit. If you play as a Kahjit when you reach the end of the game just before the final climactic moment someone will say "You aren't the dragon born." and then some random dude will step out of the crowd, reveal himself to be the dragonborn and run off to fight in the final battle. Leaving you to cry and get absolutely nothing for your trouble. Either that or the first dragon you see will kill you in one hit and you won't be able to harm it.
