This is my 4th posted map. This map is what the title says. There are plenty of secret hideouts and weapons. It is an open free-roam game meaning it is perfect for slayer games. There are lots of flying vehicles to get you around the map quickly and easily. I don't even know how many guns and energy swords and gravity hammers there are. Most of them are found in the same location, which will be shown but not described. NOW PICTURES! The Hill Overview of the Hill area Overshields! Turret in a secret spot Bunker with lots of stuff I'll be adding more pictures tomorrow.
Well first of all me and my friend have been making this all night. And second the weapons you are talking about are hidden so they're hard to find.
a small map entirely of natural pieces sounds quite interesting. some aesthetic options you could add would be a non-natural railing around the map, lowering the map itself so it isn't just a floating grid, and maybe a second grid perpendicular to the first to make a star shape instead of just a square.
The map looks like it is just rocks, overpowered weapons, and vehicles that were just put down on the map in five minutes with no thought or planning. This isn't a competitive map, it is more like a casual map. If this map is meant to be a casual map though, then it is good but there are still some problems with it. The map does not really have a good layout and the rocks in the center cause spawn killing. All of the vehicles should be removed, the rocks should be aligned more to make the map have a better layout, and all of the overpowered weapons should be removed or replaced. Also secret areas don't work well in a competitive map.
Why don't you just try it? It took me and my friend awhile to make and we are pretty happy with how it turned out. I guess it could have been better if had put it in casual but still its really fun to play with a couple of friends.
I'm going to have to agree with most of the comments that the map needs work. As Reign posted secret areas don't work well in competitive map and it is also possible for the map to be too big. It seems like you have the main area and then a bunch of walkways and misplace turrets, without considering how it will affect gameplay. Numerous swords and grav hammers results in noobs camping in the "secret spots" and can negatively affect gameplay. I would also recomend wall collasium's for the base of the hill area instead of a grid- it makes the area look more completed. Competitive maps work better when you are more focused on the layout and weapon placement and not creating secret noob hot spots.
I too am going to agree with most comments. If as you say the map is huge, your screenshots don't do it justice. Secret areas aren't a good idea because it will make a person camp there and make the gameplay less enjoyable and some of the stuff seriously looks like you just placed a grid and threw rocks all over it. 1/10
