  1. Greetings.

I'm here because I am having trouble with some aesthetics on my map. I basically have two 4 x 4 Blocks Tall put next to each other and then I have 4 x 4 Blocks Flat covering the sides, so the height is approximately 4 Blocks and I have a large amount of space to put aesthetics in or what not. I would like some suggestions on some aesthetic options. Picture below.

Any help would be very useful because this is a map that I intend to complete and post here sometime before August 22nd. By the way, this would be my first map and this, I hope, will be a great start.

Note: If you'd like a screenshot of the room tell me via PM or comment.

    Thanks.

Im not quite sure what you are asking. Is this for a competitive slayer map? what are you looking for color, or a cool design? If you want some color, then i would suggest using the bottom half of a brace or use the side of a y platform in the ground or something. They really add alot of color. If your looking for a cool design, then just make something out of struts and whatnot. You should think of an original design, since the possiblities are seemingly endless.

  3. Hmm, sorry I couldn't be more specific. Basically, it is somewhat an Infection Map, I have the whole color thing down, but I have soo much room in the area with the two 4 x 4 Blocks Tall, and I don't know what to fill it up with. I want to use struts, but they wouldn't look nice with the area. I'll try to get an image up. I lost my creativity. :/

Unfortunately I think this kind of question is so open as to be almost meaningless. I can think of a thousand ways to add interesting aesthetics, but I can't really think of the best five that would help you out. It might help if you named some pieces you like, pieces that are used elsewhere in the map, the general theme of the map (if there is one), etc.

Whenever I have an empty place, I usually fill it up with a few crates or a camping stool. They're a great way to make rooms feel less empty.

  6. Haha. I was planning on doing that. But sorry guys for this thread being too broad.
