Minecraft Thread

Matt + Cheeze = <3 is true, but that was quite childish.

 

so the permissions on my server wont work, anyone got any idea why. I gave all groups all permissions and build permissions. but idk whats happening.

 

I thought it was quite clever actually.

 

I'm thinking about making a minecraft server as an "official" forgehub server, just so there are no freaking minecart paths to places. I hate minecarts.

So I don't have to sign up for another whitelist because I'm lazy.

 

You can't make an "Official" Minecraft server. And even if you could, most people will stick to GoO and MiningBros. There's just no use in creating another one which will be barely used.

 

So I need help with permissions on my server, anyone have experience for that.

 

Yeah, I doubt ForgeHub will sanction anything like that despite the community we have for Minecraft. Unless, maybe an Admin will come in here and call either the GoO server/Miningbros server the "official" one.

Neither will be an "official", because we don't officially have a Minecraft forum or a major Minecraft following. Neither will be official because they are off-site entities.

 

You guys don't use your forum though. :S

GoO has what's as closest to a "Official" server though. Devinish runs it, so he's staff. There's a difference.

 

Using a forum doesn't matter? It's about the Minecraft server itself.

But away from that. Devinish is a Premium here. He isn't staff?

 

Ok this is stupid, and bloo I thought you would be above little arguments like this.

We will not have an official minecraft server without it being run by the staff. Plus nobody wants to do that because the staff are busy as it is. And who cares whose server is better? Sure its nice to show off what you have but enough of this "You Jelly" crap. We can appreciate what you made, but the fact that you are taunting other people with it soils your accomplishments.

 

Jokes are jokes. And miningbros getting mad at them makes it even more hilarious.
