Jets will be the bomb in first person. I'll enjoy the combat, nothing like these banshees. I mean. They fly at about 5 miles an hour! SPEED UP!!!!
Battlefield Blog An interesting blog post about class structure. I'm kind of skeptical of how they're set up, especially the medic. One thing I hate in Bad Company 2 was people getting revived after I killed them, and since most people play as Assault anyway, its just going to happen more and more.
I'm not saying I didn't like to be revived. I'm saying that reviving people is unfair, IMO, and its just going to happen more and more.
How is it unfair? You still get credit for the kill. The only unbalanced thing about it is you might be on a team of self centered douche bags while the other team has a few people who want to win and are willing to sacrifice some firepower.
Because when you kill someone they should be dead. Especially when BF3 wants to be realistic. Whenever I see someone getting revived from my death cam it has the same effect as someone teabagging me in Halo. It frustrates me. Maybe its just a personal thing, but it annoys the hell out of me.
I think it's awsome. I get to kill them again. Plus it makes playing as a medic more interesting because you're the main target.
I can see how that's frustrating, but I don't really see how that would be any different than if that medic on the other team wasn't a medic and just shot you instead. I'd say it's more annoying to go up against someone who can snipe like a beast and there's almost nothing you can do about it. It's kind of just the nature of these games. There will always be something to frustrate you, it might just be different things that frustrate different people.
They better get this sorted out or they're going to have an uphill battle on their hands this holiday season.

It looks like you can have at least three attachments on your gun at any given time, which is awesome. The post also reveals that there are over 50 weapons in BF3. On a different thread I said that I thought the guns in BFBC2 were too similar to one another, and now I'm a little worried this might be the case in BF3. BUT, it does look like, through the customization, that you are able to craft your weapon to give it its own personality even if it doesn't have one by default. This older blog post talks about co-op campaign, which is something Battlefield has never done before. Each mission looks to me like a spec-ops mission from MW2, which is ok, I guess. One thing that annoys me a little is that they said they made the levels shorter so you an focus more on your score, which is something I've never cared about, but I guess some people do. :/ Anywho, here's some co-op gameplay with some annoying swedish accented narration.
