Who knows. Without playing Chain of memories, there were a shitload of plot holes in 2, and from the ending of coded, it's apparent that the story of Kingdom Hearts 3 will be Sora having to go and take the keyblade master test thingy, which you wouldn't know about at all unless you played ReCoded and other ****.
