Parties have never worked in government and the fact that we still have them just shows how little we have come as a country.
In times of hardship, the Roman senate would elect a dictator to deal with the problem. Yes it was Rome's democratic downfall, but they got **** done.
tusk is already the cool of fh. and you're all fools for thinking there are only two sides to politics.
Yes, it's a spectrum but I generalize. No matter how "grey" a person or group is on a black and white spectrum, they are generally still stubborn. In addition, the two parties greatly outnumber the amount of people who are indifferent or impartial. That's why I try not to talk about politics. It comes down to whether or not you think like a group of people. If you don't, then you won't be re-elected. If you're not re-elected, you don't make bank so easily. Therefore, a lot of politicians try to be one "side" or the other -- to better their chances of getting re-elected. It's ****ed.
Just agree'd to race for pink slips with a friend of mine. I'm driving a crown victoria. He's driving a police issue crown victoria. how ****ed am I on a scale of one to ten?
I actually watched it purely because you mentioned it ages ago. Seasons 1 & 2 were fantastic, Ii's a shame some of the season 3 episodes were absolutely terrible, and the last episode was a filler episode. Anyone watch Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, The Spectacular Spider-Man, Wolverine and the X-Men, X-Men Evolution, or Young Justice?
Not only do I not know what you look like, but your eyebrows are black lines. Could have been a picture of Zach Braff for all I know.
someone re: mass effect fem shep voting: (shepard 5 won) "They're typical, 80-90% of players will pick them just to get the game rolling. Maybe more guys will pick FemShep now that they've voted her in. Because that's who is choosing this, not the female fans. This is the 80% male fan base that plays this game choosing the one they think is the most appealing, not the one that they think reminds them of Shepard, or even a soldier saving the galaxy. The voting had no story behind it, just looks, of course BlondeShep won in a pool that saturated with people that play MaleShep." this is plain ****ing stupid because mass effect's story is dependant on the player, so it HAS to be on looks. what reminds me of shepard is a femshep who looks like a woman not something pulled out of 'she's the man'. i would have preferred shep 5 to have a better hair colour but the reason i voted for shep5 was because she was the most convincing one. i could not truly see the other designs filling the role completely and carrying out what shepard does in the story, they either look too paragon or renegade or just lack personality. And the other complainers think that it reflected the way people viewed women in society today are even dumber and are sexist themselves to think that the voters would have voted just because they found one more attractive than the other. /rant. i could have easily voted for 3 though, but there wasnt a close up - also the elvis fringe puts me off a little
