I spent a lot of time to create gametypes that remember the Halo : Combat Evolved gameplay and I think I have found them. Player Settings: Damange resistance 125% Damange modifier 110% Health recharge rate 0% Melee Damange Modifier 75% First Weapon ( Assault Rifle - Magnum - Plasma Pistol - Plasma Rifle ) Second Weapon Magnum ( Only with Assault Rifle ) Player Speed 110 % Player Gravity 150 % Time Limit 20 Minutes CTF Settings: Players can drive vehicles with the flag Player can return their flag simply touch it. Oddball Settings: automatic collection of the skull In detail: Now the magnum needs only 4 shots to kill an opponent and a few shots can seriously damange a light vehicle like the ghost. The Assault Rifle is really a power weapon, it can kill a fully shielded opponent with an half clip. Plasma Rifle an Plasma Pistol are now very fast to drain shields. A single sniper rifle shot will drain all the shield of an opponent and almost all his health bar. Sniper rifle can take down a banshee only with 3 shots. Banshe can kill enemy banshees very fast with his primary fire. Now the shotgun is a medium to close combat weapon. The rocket laucher has a bigger area of damange. A spartan can be killed with a single granade explosion. 3 melee hits are required to kill a fully shielded spartan. Now health is more important than shields. Oh **** never mind,I can make my own and just wondering did you copy Team Classic from online?Anyways I see a few flaws,#1 Player too fast #2 Health is too high you should just increase damage #3 They feel kinda heavy make the gravity like 125% or something I just wanted a classic feeling in online like before with no repeaters,needler rifle,dmr etc. Is I Ryhe?
-Speed is fine, Spartans III are just slower than spartans II, so 110% it's Ok; -with lower health you will be take down by only one sniper shot -in reach spartans are heavy as in Combat Evolved. I spent a lot of time to balancing these gametypes, so i suggest you to use this for your map pack , becouse they are simply identical to their combat evolved counterparts P.S:I copied Combat evolved gametypes, not Team Classic's ^^
What about indestructible vehicles? Also are there tanks on Blood Gulch? And I agree with spy penguin as well.
Links for CTF and Oddball are broken. Also, would'nt the new rocket hog pumped up with your gametype be stronger than the old?
