    This is a project that I have been working on for the last few weeks. In the past I have always created symmetrical maps, mainly because I love objective gametypes and they are much easier to create. Yet, I always wanted to create an asymmetrical map because the gameplay seems much more intense, and unpredictable. However, everytime I tried to create an asymmetrical map the end result was the same, it always turned into a symmetrical map lol. Untill a few weeks ago when I went into forge to play around, and my first asymmetrical map was born.

    This map is a medium size map that supports 2-8 players. Although 2v2's work on this map, I would say that 4v4's and 3v3's are a more enjoyable, and fast paced experience. I have already put this map through countless tests, but I am always in need of some fresh perpectives. So, if you want to help test this map, or just take a closer look feel free to message me.     Looks pretty interesting, Ill definitely be giving this a look at when you post the link. Is it finished yet or are you still tweaking it?

    Looks really well forged and has a great use of pieces. My only aesthetic gripe is I think you should lower the sideways brace, larges to cover the edge of the coliseum walls (very top of 1st pic), I think it would fit better with the map aesthetic if they were covered uniformly by the braces. Just an idea. Btw I found the red body in the second pic to be really funny for some reason. I would like to help test but I may be out of town for the next week or so. If you still need people then, feel free to add me (gt: cyborganthro).

    I would say that it is nearing completion. Aesthetically, I would say what you see is what you will get, for the most part anyways. The things I will be tweaking the most will be spawns, game-types and possible weapon placements.

    HAHA...I laughed when I saw the red body also. I completely missed it until I had already posted the pictures. Anyways, Cyborg I had never thought about removing the white trim like you said. After you pointed that out, it does seem to be a little out of the place, so I will definitely looking into changes on that! Thanks.

    The forging on this looks really nice. It's hard to get a feel for the layout of course, but what I see in every screenshot - especially the 1st, 2nd and last ones - looks promising. Nice job, hope to get a game on this at some point.

    Really nice map, very cleanly forged. I also like how you used unique blocks and incorporated them into your map. Good work!

    Looks sexy. Does it support Elites (my preferred species); what gametypes does it support? Looks it would well for CTF and Oddball.

    Yes it will support Elites, there is plenty of wiggle room for those massive beasts lol. I personally would recommend team slayer/FFA on this map. Crazy king is pretty chaotic, and team odd ball was pretty fun. As for CTF, I have not been able to get a game on it. The problem with CTF on this map would be the fact that it is asymmetrical, which means it is not very balanced for CTF. One flag would be doable, but I am not sure how it will play. If you want to get a game on it with me, just send me a message.

    Very nice map moth. Some people would think that there's a lot of FRL on this map, but there isn't. Not anymore at least ;) Glad you fixed it. I forgot to tell you something about this map that I think you could change to MAYBE improve it a bit more. I'll tell you tomorrow.

    Ya there was some FLR when 8 people got on the map. Only two places, so I changed some of the Aesthetics(sad face)and then it was much more enjoyable. And I am up for any ideas, just send me a message!

    I really love this map, because, its gotmany unique areas with good long LoS and a very good flow, the map is a perfect size for 2v2 but the 3v3 game we played was awesome in its own right.

    Awaiting release :)

    Thanks man, I hope to have this released soon, but I still need more testing on 3v3. You will have to get a 2v2 on this with me sometime, cuz I honestly think that 2v2 is just a little to slow. I could use another opinion though!

    I got to look around this yesterday night with you briefly in forge when I was about to fall asleep, but I was still quiet intrigued by the design, and feel of the map. Each area was a unique fighting space, that seemed to have a number of options to keep the fighting fresh. I saw one spot that had a longer sight line that I was wondering about lag in, but since we were in forge that could very easily be the reason why as it was very slight. Send me an invite whenever your testing this as I would like to get a game in on it to see if the game play is as good as the feel of the map.

    Change name. Veridian is a rather famous and popular MLG map.

    First of all you could be a little more polite with your post, rather than just say change name. Use a little tact. Secondly, after I posted the map name I did remember a map by that name, which was created early on in reach. Thirdly, if you have noticed I believe we have spelled our maps differently. Needless to say, I have contemplated renaming it. If you have any suggestions, or if anyone else does I would be more than happy to hear your suggestions.

    It has been a a while since I have gained a chance to play a map as good as this and in my opinion, is forge hub feature worthy. Amazing use of coloring, very nice textures and shaping, good cover, and all I have to worry about is the middle section considering there is no areas to hide in that section but I like it that way.

    This map isn't my style, but gameplay is smooth and the aesthetics are top-notch. Keep it up Mothy Moth.

    Also, this map suits 3v3 the best, IMO. I found 4v4 to be overcrowded and 2v2 to be a hide and go seek game.

    Thanks Sugar means a lot! As for the middle of the map I would have to agree with you. I have toyed with a couple of ideas to fix this problem, first of all thinking about placing a power weapon in the center, but the only weapon I could see being rushed would be rockets and I don't think rockets would be good for this map. I have changed up some of the layout since you played, and also tweaked the spawns which I think will increase more play on the bottom level. I am always in need of more testers!

    Ya I agree with you that it fits 3v3 the best, although 4v4 is not nearly as bad as 2v2 IMO. I have made some more changes since the last time you played/saw the map, and maybe these changes will help cater to players like yourself :) Anyways, I just need a few more tests with the new changes, and then this map will finally be out the door!
