The Ring is a 2-8 player map. (8 Players is hectic, but fun.) My friends and I always have VERY competitive 2-6 player Halo parties, but I felt like the maps were too big for our FFA games. Thus, The Ring was created. THE RING This map is great for 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 matches. I only got to try 4v4 once, and it was insane, but very fun. Flags spawn on either sides of the map: Where The Ring really shines is on my most recommended game type for it: FFA ODDBALL. The intricacy of the map makes for an intense FFA oddball game. From jumping all over the map and juking out the other players, to dropping from above to get a one hit kill with the oddball. If you DL the map, please try this game type with some of your friends. Looks really hectic, which is not necesserily bad, and it's a good map. Just one thing: the 2x2 corner in the 4th pic looks out of place.
Trudat!! saw that immediately!! this map looks pretty rediculously small, but hey thats what arena matches are for! the one thing that i might like, based on the pics, is an upper outer ring that sort of functions as a walkway that you can jump down from and assassinabate people... that would be EPIC!
I can't help noticing that the red flag isn't on the capture plate, did someone pick it up? Or does it start like that? The blue flag spawn is fine so IDK...
