Welcome to Tangerine, the first map I've made in Reach. It's based around the idea of having a low attacking base and a high defending base, with a bridge in between the two. It is asymmetrical and is recommended for 1v1 and 2v2 games. Anyways, I know that no one likes reading, so onto the details! Weapons: 2 DMRs l 30 sec l 2 spare clips 1 Spiker l 30 sec l 0 spare clips 1 Needle Rifle l 30 sec l 2 spare clips 1 Sniper Rifle l 60 sec l 0 spare clips Miscellaneous: 4 Health Packs l 30 sec 2 Plasma Grenades l 30 sec Pictures: Looking at the defender's base. Looking at the attacker's base. Looking at the central building.
hey, those are some nice pictures you got there This map does look nice. I would like to help test, problem is, I don't get on that much, but if i am, just send me an invite, my GT is iTzz Longshot. If you ever come across screenlag, I know that you can replace the "2x2 Banks" with "ramp bridges" that are set on 26 or 27 degress. The banks have some lights...found it out before. Anyway, just let me know if you need anything.
Thanks, man. But like I said, testing probably won't be until next week, but when I am testing I'll definitely invite you. As for the 2x2 Banks, I'm assuming you mean 2x2 Bridges, Steep, because I don't have a single bank on this map. But thanks for the advice. And I'll probably need more editing when the map is actually released if you're up to it.
Okay, what filter is it you're using on your pictures because I've seen a few maps use the exact same one a few times. I like the simplicity and cohesion of piece choices. My only concern is about fairly open backside (3rd picture up from the bottom). Is there a power weapon there that would encourage players to risk using that route?
lol yea sorry about that. I can do that no problem. Same thing im assuming? Yeah, my good friend Noxiw does that filter to his maps, I felt like copying him for once
Thanks for the comment! Actually, that is the defender's spawn, so it's supposed to be open. But thanks for your concern anyways. Yeah, I probably won't need any more editing until later, but I'll send you a message when I need you.
