Am I the only one who would absolutely love it if a Legend Of Zelda game was made for xbox. Imagine the hours of gameplay and crazy achievements that would be involved. I remember when I would constantly play Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, and Twilight Princess on the Gamecube. Those games, although very challenging, were amazing. Now Imagine if they were totally redesigned for the Xbox 360. Also, imagine if you could go through the vast worlds and temples with friends on live. Wouldn't that be epic? The only game that compares to Legend of Zelda is Darksiders, which is twice as hard and confusing to complete. So basically, this thread is for all of you to comment on what you think about what I said above, and tell what you think Legend Of Zelda would be like if it were totally redesigned. You can also tell about your favorite old games and how you think they would be if they were redesigned for Xbox 360.
I'd love if it was made for the xbox. But it won't. Ever. Because it's owned by Nintendo. Ever. Ever.
Play Castle crashers. Then get a Ps2 and play shadow of the colossus, you have no idea what a hard game is until you do that.
Every tried climbing a giant monster that's like 50 stories tall armed only with a basic sword? Yeah, thats what I thought. Shadow of the Colossus has every game for the xbox beat difficulty wise, I'd even go so far as to say that its the hardest ps2 game. And no, I never played darksiders on the hardest difficulty because, quite frankly, the game sucked.
I think Darksiders was an ok game I just wish they would have made it easier to find out what to do and where to go in the game. I watched my brother play Darksiders and one of the bosses was a huge demon made out of parts of buildings. To defeat him you had to try to teleport onto his back to hit his week spot. Believe me when I say that was not so easy to do. Plus he had a gigantic hammer that took down almost half of your health every time it hit you. You should really play darksiders, beat the game, and than say whether that ps2 game is harder.
I'm Heroez Blade117's brother.... Almost every boss on Legend of Zelda was 10 times your size and you only had 1-2 weapons to defeat it. As for Darksiders, The bosses were crazy, the battles even worse, and the puzzles worse yet. Every boss took true skill and time to defeat and you had to know exactly what you were doing. Take a look for yourself.... Darksiders bosses 1.The Phantom General Darksiders - Boss Fight 01: Phantom General [HD]‏ - YouTube 2. Then Fight a Dark Angel who barely gives you a chance to attack. Now tell me your game is harder than this.
Ok, I can now say for certain. Shadow of the Colossus is harder. I can't find any good video's for gameplay, but seriously, its damn hard.
Dude until you actually play darksiders on the hardest difficulty for yourself than I dont think you should still say that other game is harder. These are just videos so it does not give you any real experience of the game.
You can still play Zelda games on your computer. Grab a Gamecube emulator, download the Zelda games, get hours of enjoyment. I've done it, and can recommend a sick emulator.
I'm rather aware that they are just videos, I'm just saying, Shadow of the colossus is almost definitely harder. Plus, it doesn't have difficulties, and its crazy hard. Also, another hard game I can recommend is Demon's Souls for the Ps3... its a little ridiculous how hard it is. That or Ninja Gaiden 2 (for 360), you can only beat the hardest difficulty with lots of skill or some sort of exploit. But honestly, the PS2 had much harder games than nowadays. I still stand by Shadow of the Colossus as a hardest PS2 game though.
Ninja Gaiden 2 was a little easy when I played it at my friends house. As for the PS3, I am never gonna get one because they are hacked so easily and theres no Halo.
Well whatev's xbawks fanboy. Open your horizons, you don't need online for any of the good parts of PS3 games for the most part. (by good parts I mean campaign, you know, the actually hard part?) But w/e its all a matter of opinion I suppose, and you don't seem to be open to any other than your own. I personally would love to see a good ol' Jak and daxter game on one of the current gen consoles, I loved them to death regardless of their difficulty.
these "hard" games you talk about seem to be more tedious and repetitive than just difficult. they dont seem fun at all. a good game has good pacing and a difficulty curve that is challenging, but not to the point where it gets frustrating. thats no fun. personally, i'd much rather be the god king of space and plow through everything in my path than a small bug against a giant where i have to grind his weak spot for hours and avoid getting sneezed on else i die. although id prefer something in the middle.
touche, but I was making a point for difficulty, not the amount of enjoyment I got out of the game... even though I did enjoy it. Ooh, another game I'd like to see a version on the current Gen consoles would be Dark Cloud, which was a PS2 game (there is also Darkcloud 2, which is better)
Well if we're going to be like that. I've played both. Not only is Shadow of the Colossus a much better game, but it's miles harder than Darksiders on the hardest difficulty. Miles. Problem solved.
I suppose I should just buy one. I guess it's only $30 now for a refurbished system from GameStop, and Zelda games are $20 to $30 now. (Thinking about it).
