I've dowloaded Complexity, and the first thing I noticed was the color on the walls, which is a very nice feature in any map. There is a good amount of cover, the corridors are wide enough to avoid grenade spam, and the weapons are placed well. The only problems I encountered was a little z-flicker, a couple of bumps and a missing sniper...? There is one behind red spawn, but there isn't another anywhere on the map. Anyway, I've uploaded a version of Complexity to my fileshare with minor fixes such as a resolution to the z-flicker and bumps. Finally, I placed all the blue initial spawns in the same place, and I deleted a Nuetral Initial spawn by the blue base. My version of complexity
thanks i've play tested a few times and never saw the Z shaped glitch..let me answer the sniper thing for you .when you go to max count i put it on 2 so after the 1st sniper i taken it will spawn again regardless of someone having it or not.
Confused. By no sniper, I meant there was only one sniper spawn on the map, behind the red base. And z-flicker is when two blocks are placed on eachother on the same co-ordinates, but the surfaces are flickering so that what is on top is swapping. It can cause laz and frame-rate issues if not dealt with on a map.
I'm loving the looks of this, I really want to get a game in on it, but my parties are usually about four people, max. It is an overused design and I don't see much new to the scene, besides using ramps as walls, I can't believe no one figured it out sooner than a month or two ago. A friend and I made an amazing map much like this one, but its max was 4v4, this looks like it might be able to handle 5v5-6v6 comfortably. I honestly love the feel of indoor maps like this, so I have more of a thing for this type of map. Nice job man, would look forward to more of these from you. EDIT: Weapon density = OVER 9000! Insane amount of weapons in that Grenade Launcher room.
