You only like it because it takes place in NY! Kidding. But seriously though, is this a new spider-man movie that's supposed to be like mirrors edge? Or did you just name it that because of the first person perspective?
Its the crappy reboot of Spidertwilightman. I just thought it looked more like Mirror's Edge than spiderman.
lol yea thats what i thought you meant. I don't know why they'd start a new spiderman series. Why not just continue with the old one?
I read a comment that said it's marvel preparing for The Avengers movie. It makes a little sense when you think about it. They aren't using Toby M. for The Avengers. I really don't think this movie will be as good as the others though.
Like Christopher Nolan right? I mean, Dark Knight was personally the biggest piece of **** I've ever seen.
I can see there are mixed opinions on this, but being a long time major spiderman fan, I can honestly say they are doing this all wrong to me. It looks like this will probably be worse than Spiderman 3. I cannot stand the new peter, the new costume looks try-hard, the webshooters are lame, and they are focusing way hard on the parents background. Additionally, I've come to know all the actors for their roles. Not everyone likes Toby as spiderman, but I grew to acknowledge him as the role.
I'm not sure why you're going so negative The new version cant be any worse than the old Spiderman...I mean seriously they made Peter go emo
TSB, they're just trying to get back to what spiderman was supposed to be. The webshooters are part of that.
I can live with all of it. Except the new costume, and the main actor. I've always been a huge fan of spiderman. I know the third movie sucked. I know the other two werent super dark. I watched the old cartoons and read some of the comics before half of you were born. I don't wanna hear it. lol
You'd expect that Mirror's Edge invented first-person from the kind of reactions people are giving to this trailer. But people will pick apart the details of anything they don't want to like.
Sam Raimi pitched an abomination of a script to Sony where he'd used The Vulture as the main villian (he'd been wanting to do the Vulture since the second one, I believe). Sony said, in so many words, "No. This script sucks. The Vulture sucks." Shortly after, he dropped out and the 4th Spiderman movie was scrapped as well as the 5th and 6th they were planning. Sony had to move fast on making a new Spiderman movie otherwise they'd lose the rights to the character back to Marvel Studios. So they quickly got to work. Different studios: Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, The Hulk, The Avengers belong to Marvel. SpiderMan belongs to Sony. Personally, I'm looking forward to The Amazing Spider-Man. I'd rather see a brand new movie made by people who WANT to make a Spiderman movie rather than a fourth installment made by people going through the motions.
I don't give a **** about the director, I cared about the cast. I grew to know them as the characters. Furthermore, that main actor is a tool. Additionally, I know first person scenes have been done a million times, but there are direct movements taken from that demo. I really wouldn't be surprised if they used it as inspiration for that scene.
