Yeah, I need a new laptop. I can play Minecraft on short with no lag, anything above and it lags like a *****. Loading up the Aether took forever, then the lag started. And never stopped. I'll probably end up buying a cheap desktop or something.
The Aether is amazing. I have never seen a mod so great. Who ****ing cares if this is a forging site. I want this mod featured. It has motherfucking AEERRRRWHAALLLLLLESSSS!
So, I was jumping on random servers today for the fun of it, trying to find a new one because the one I got Head Admin on was shut down last night. I got kicked off randomly with the error: Logged on from a different location. I couldn't log back on, so I had my friend log on to find out what happened. Turns out someone stole my account. Upon further inspection, turns out my little **** of a cousin got my login (no idea how) and has been griefing servers with it for the past couple of weeks.
Aether mod = awesome. I hope the nether gets all the same kind of things like dungeons, towns and creatures cuz right now all it is hordes of pigmen. I think notch will very much consider merging this into the vanilla game.
90% chance that the Aether mod won't be integrated into the game. Don't worry, though, I can almost guarantee that with the 1.8 Adventure Update there will be HUGE changes to the nether and possibly the addition of the sky-world that Notch was working on.
Notch said the first publicly playable version will be at PAX, and from there they'll just tweak a few things before releasing it. EDIT: ****ing Ninja, Neo.
<3 Stick. So I've changed my password for my Minecraft account, but I still can't get on my server because my cousin's apparently playing right now, and has been for hours. There isn't any way of me knocking him off the account, is there?
You can knock him out with you fist. It won't knock him offline but you'll just be able to do that yourself. Srsly: If he's a little kid call him and threaten to tell his mom that he stole your game.
I hope minecarts will be able to be driven like boats in lava in 1.8. I don't think it'll happen though... :'(
Anyone who is using the aether mod should be wary of exploding beds. I tried sleeping in a bed I had made in the aether, and the ***** exploded in my face just as it would if it were in the nether.
I made a Minecraft dungeon map. You go into it an then you use a lever to open a secret entrance. then there is a chest with a couple of useful items in it (including an iron sword that is well needed). After that, you venture into a room with a trap door in the ground and a chest full of redstone, levers and armour (part of the boss room puzzle). then, when you fall into the trap door, you are dropped safely into a big room that has usually had loads of creatures spawning in it. I got my friend to test the map and he faced 4 creepers, 5 zombies and 2 skeletons. And countless spiders too. The room was so big though, that creatures can spawn on the other side of the room. You fill in a connection with redstone which opens a chest to bows, arrows and armour. Fight your way out of the room into another room with a chest resting on a diamond block. open the chest and you find a diamond sword, the rest of the iron armour and all the ingredients to make an operational piston.
