Mercury I come to you with another map (if you already have forgotten Sea-Sick Sword base). An earlier version of this map will be submitted for the $5,000 map contest. But that's not important, what is, is this newer version with nice aesthetics "ooh, look at that, that looks nice". Except, not quite. This map is currently under development, making its transition from gray, boring map, to exciting fiesta of fun! I wanted to show my progress to show off what I have in store for the $5,000 contest. Still, this is still its own unique thing. Think of this as a V2, if you will; even though you haven't seen V1. And by the way, if you have any concerns about gameplay, then feel free to PM me and we'll discuss; good advice is always welcomed! P.S. It's a bit hard to see the layout, but it's also hard to get an overview of an enclosed map. You'll just have to wait til I post this map sometime after August 31.
I like the mixture of natural items and standard pieces that you incorporated into this map. It sets it apart from some of the other maps that are purely gray. However, the rocks in the second to last picture look a little off. You may want to readjust them to make them look more natural.
Yeah when I first tested this it looked a little bit grey - very grey. But there's not much you can really do about it, even so I can see you've done alot. wassup CareerGK?
Gray gray gray gray. I'm not going to complain about that. Quite honestly, there's not much you can do. Competitive maps are based more off of gameplay anyways. Having said that, this map is quite fun to play, when you have fair teams. I'm glad you fixed some of those water gaps. I used to fall into them too much Oh and HAVE ENOUGH PICS? It's a pre-view brah.
Yeah, well I wanted to show the entire map so people can see the boring gray brah. Besides, the map is not done, so what am I really spoiling here?
You've already made a lot of changes. You're not going to be making any more that are drastic. Right? If so, I'd like to see what else you come up with. I think this map is solid. I wouldn't overdo it.
