That's exactly what Bungie did with every Halo game. They always gut the engine and start from scratch. And if people are going to wish for something it should be within reason. I'm raging just reading this thread.
This. I have always wanted selectable zombie classes in infection. And don't tell me to go play another game, it's not the same. Also, the ability to make any object movable as well as a gmod-esque weld feature. Edit: *Uncle Voice* One more thing! Prophet Chairs, 'nuff said.
Well if you played the Halo 3 campaign you would know that the Sangellhi found out that the Prophets were lying to them, so they killed them. The Arbiter even shakes hands with Captain Keyes, or someone similar. If not boats, then make some kind of LCAC Warthog that can drive on water or on land. I also want to see a type of UNSC Fighter, like the saber. It would help in Invasion types of games. I also think the ghosts hovering over water is long overdue.
forge and firefight. in fact, i would like the option to forge firefight maps. maybe set where ships drop off or where squads spawn. also a return of V.I.P. would be nice.
I agree. If possible, I'd also love an option to forge a campaign type mission like invasion but with AI. Also, in custom games, AI Bot settings would be nice.
And the rest of the covenant? About real firefight customization, imagine playing stockpile in firefight. That would be so much fun.
They got wiped out, dude. Halo 4 is the start of the brand new Halo Trilogy. That means new storyline either entirely or almost entirely.
I'm kind of with pyro on this one. The brutes will still be against them regarless I'm pretty sure. And on top of that, the entire covenant may not have been informed yet...
Well the Chief is in deep space floating around for god knows how long, so the Covenant is miles away from the Chief even if they try to go against the humans again.
I want the transport warthog in multiplayer! It would be epic to transport an entire warthog of people holding splazers, rockets, shotguns across the horizon. It would be unstoppable! I also want more forerunner weapons other than the energy sword and sentinel beam. And some flood objects for forge like crates and piles of infected mush like halo 3 as well as forerunner crates and stuff. If there are any covenant, then they will be taking refuge from the elites on the object from the Halo 4 trailer or they will be doing something else there. Because humanity definitely went around to find every bit of the covenant and kill them all and definitely won all those battles. If the cole protocol worked for Humanity for so long it could easily keep the covenant hidden. Besides there would have been a giant army at master chief's funeral if the war was actually over. campain: there should be no covenant weapons or characters, allowing the forunner flood battles to take over, with master chief working for the forunners Multiplayer: human and forunner weapons only, different loadouts, infection with flood as infected, NO COVENANT (except for invasion) firefight: covenant style or flood style forge: many more features
Forge Well I think we don't need a massive map like forge world. because look back at halo 3. When the heroic map pack came out with foundry. Just that small wide open forge pallet kept us busy, mainly because there was variety of objects, that all looked different for the most part. Although if there is a large map like ForgeWorld, as long it has alot of unique forge items, then i agree. Weapons I'm not so keen on forerunner weapons. A could see the point of a few, and the return of sentinals if story takes place on a forerunner construct. Story I think we just stop posting about that. The game is still a year away. Lets just stop thinking about it. They are most likely still writing the story, and developing some game engine to run halo 4. If were lucky we may see a more in-depth trailer a the spike VGA this year. or at E3 2012 Vehicles I would like to see the return of the hornet, and the elephant in multiplayer.
I would like: -Fire Fight Forging Ability -Multiple colors in Forge (Example: Painted pieces instead of just different colored lights inside the pieces) -Multiple textures in Forge like wood, metal, ice, covenant metal, (whatever those purple cruise ships are made of) rock, grass pieces, brick, etc, etc. -A customs matchingmaking thing, where people set up there own "booths" and anyone can join into anyone. (Also a toggle option for passwords or invite only, so if you want a private custom game you can have one) -A larger budget on forge. -Multiple Forge worlds with different landscapes. -Flamethrower. -Flame Nades. -Flood Infection game, Infected = Playable flood players. -A door in forge that can be activated (locked or open) by switch or by doing something to open it. -A puzzle gametype for puzzle forgers. -Cooler and more variety of Armor. -More options for coloring Armor. -The Pit. -Ladders in forge (Halo 1 status ladders) -Master Chief =P -New aliens. -Smarter aliens. -Skulls that players have to find in campaign again! That was fun to do! -Hayabusa! -Upgrade that allows players to phase through walls. -Underwater forging. -Underwater Campaign mission with sick scuba diving gear =P -More armor effects (Example: Full body flames, Better lightning, Glow, Etc.) -A better way to share maps. -New weapons.
