Aesthetic Map Pack 1 Dreadnaught Created by A-Groeper This experimental corvette-class fighter is the proud result of decades of UNSC research and reconstruction on an excavated Forerunner ship found beneath the ice of a Halo ringworld. It has been designed for a heavier role in space combat: disabling the subsystems of Covenant cruisers. Although the Forerunner primary weapon array could not be salvaged, it has been replaced with MAC gun (immobilized scorpion) powered by the ship's ancient reactor. It does however retain the secondary Forerunner defense systems (plasma cannons) that make it devastating in fighter-fighter ingagements. This map was designed with both aesthetics and playability in mind. It comes equipped for team slayer. In this highly tactical custom game, human rebels attempt to disable and capture the mighty ship from the UNSC for their own appropriations. Team games played on this map should ideally have the repawn options set to synchronize with team to organize the mayhem of combat (and make it harder for the team on the ship!). The team that starts out on the ground won't be on the ground for long. The rebel base is equiped with 4 banshees and a hornet that are set to quickly spawn. What unfolds is a massive battle as the Dreadnaught fends off wave after wave of enemy fighters. Dreadnaught was forged with an infinite budget canvas, so some objects may not be available in forge. You should however be able to modify it for CTF and Territories if you so wish. Enjoy! Sparrowhawks are similar to Pelicans, but alot smaller. It's slanted and has a cockpit at the front; it has three gun turrets, one at the front under the cockpit, and two under each of the wings. The Sparrowhawk is a very detailed small vehicle, and a pure aesthetic map. Although the map cannot be played, it's extremely detailed aesthetics make it worth taking a look at in game as well as in the screenshots. Probably the most playable aesthetic map ever created. Here you can enjoy a nice round of golf with friends or just by yourself. Water Hazard is a par three hole. Any future holes will have blue lights which indicates what par it is, this hole has three blue lights. The hole features a short fairway with a sharp right turn to the hole. In between the tee and the hole is a rather large lake. This is no ordinary lake though, we have engineered it to bounce, yes bounce, the golf ball. This is in order so you do not lose your golf ball in the water (we are sick of replacing them). But do not be fooled, for you can still fall in the water. What about golf clubs? You got 'em. Choose your clubs, the 5' Wood and the Putter, from the Pro Shop. Ghost Golf supplies you with the best in Golf Technology. Yes, you even are supplied with a Golf Cart. Well what are you waiting for head on over to Ghost Golf. Ghost Golf is not liable for any harm that comes your way. If you get a Grav Hammer stuck in your back by your partner because you screwed up and hit it out of bounds, that is not our fault. We only are open from 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. If you miss your tee time there will be no refunds. So you better get there on time. Contrary to popular belief you do not receive a free round of golf if you make a hole in one, nor do you get anything. All you get is a ball in a hole, that's it. Oh and the wall is a guide not a thing to keep you in the course, so I could care less that it is easy to get out of, it really is a golf course. Big post today, gravedigger. I really enjoyed the round me and my friends played on Dreadnaught. The other two I have seen and think they are pretty good.
Nice map pack; however, I've seen all of these maps, so it's nothing new to me. Nice picks, of course. The media tags for the video seem to be broken. Edit: Never mind.
Wow-zorz. That first one looks amazing. And I never got around to downloading Ghost Golf. Perhaps it is time. Also, are there no polls for these? Perhaps a single poll asking what people think of the map pack as a whole?
I just added the poll. Dreadnaught and Ghost Golf are both playable; Sparrowhawk is purely aesthetic.
Is there anything else on the second one to make it more playable? EDIT: Oops, didn't see the new post...
I remember looking at all of those maps. Usually, I avoid the Aesthetics section at all costs, but those specific three caught my eye.
hey i downloaded this before it was featured and im just sying nice job getting it featured it was awsome
