I have not read the OP or any of the other posts in this thread. All I have to say is: I will probably buy Halo 4, but HALO: CE Anniversary is a waste of money if all they have changed is the graphics. My $0.02
They have changed other small things too, but if you just want to quickly play it then i see your point. Although they did include Reach DLC maps that are remakes of old halo maps, so thats a bonus... plus when its only $40 and you get all the new graphics and easter eggs i think its a steal!
Its only the games that have such a massive emphasis on censorship. The only books, movies and art that arent allowed in Australia are the ones that are pretty much not allowed in any other country, as well. The only reason they come down on games censorship so much is because its an interactive media, and they think that everyone who plays videogames are 10 years old, and extremely impressionable. They dont realize that its the adults who are crying out for an adult rating for games, not the children. If a parent buys their child an adult game and that kids childhood effectively ends when they turn it on, thats due to bad parenting and shitty judgement. Because of a few idiots in parliament that think like this, they think they have to nanny the entire population of Australia. Stupid thing is, they've constantly contradicted themselves when it comes to rating games. Theres been games in the past that have been let through, uncensored, but other games have been refused classification, even though they had similar content. Theres an article somewhere on IGN about it, just cant remember where it is.

No. The game is the exact same as Halo C.E. Everything. They're adding little things, like terminals and other small easter eggish objects that won't change the game in any way.
Honestly I hope they make it like the PC and put in the Flamethrower. Also the pistol will be 3 shots just like halo CE.
No flamethrower, the game is going to be an exact replica of CE for the original xbox, with some visual upgrades. So the pistol will play like it did in campaign. Multiplayer is another story... we don't have any details on that yet other than it'll be run through Halo Reach.

My understanding of multiplayer is that it will be exact reach gameplay on remade CE maps that are tweaked a bit to account for gameplay differences in reach I.e. Jetpack
Indeed. 343 also announced the title update would contain quite a bit to ensure that the multiplayer will also feel as classic as posssible. What that is, we do not know.
