As long as you haven't posted it on Forge Hub before, you can. As for whether or not its against the spirit of the competition, that would be entirely up to your own judgement, I suppose.

Just about finished making a map actually, just working on spawning. Then I saw this contest and realized that the budget was at $4600 left. So I deleted a few items and now it's ready-ish. Just need to get on those spawns... I probably have no chance in hell of winning anything, but it's worth a shot.
Still working on my map, not much time for me to find a test group so I had to submit it to the TG, I have to say I am nervous as I really dont like some changes, though it is a solution to some of what people have asked for. Hard to say what will come of it- if it is a really bad review, this map is getting remade from the ground up... well... if I do that I'll not touch the center, everyone loves that bridge...
I am so CBF to finish my map. End of August? Maybe Ill have had enough of BFBC2 by then to whip out reach and finish my map.
I really should stop playing StarCraft 2 and get back to finishing off this map. I havent touched my Xbox since Sunday just gone, does this make me a bad person? Theres still a month and a half to go, so that should be plenty of time. I promise Ill get back to making it soon, just gotta play a little more SC... Take your eyes off starcraft now before I tie you to your chair and force you to finish your map... And I have seen loadsa people saying that they'll take part, but only a few submissions... I suppose this is because the deadline is still over a month away, but still, GOGOGO people.

I'm workin I'm workin! I have two maps to choose from at the moment, and I'm in the process of finishing up both and beginning testing. One month to go, and I intend on testing as much as I can in that month. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Well, unlike the other people who say they're making a map or are going to participate, I actually have a pretty-much-finished map. Testing, aesthetics, testing, submitting to the TG and more testing are whats going to be on the plate for me in the month to come. Ill actually probably submit it to TG very soon, then do my own test seshes, and brush anything up that needs brushing up. If I stop being apathetic, then Ill pass it onto TG within the next 24 hours. And even then, Im probably not going to submit my entry until near the very end of the deadline, because I just dont wanna post it early.
So due to my planned map for this being complete rubbish (in my opinion) I will not be entering it. Fortunately I have another 5000$ map that just so happens to be fun! I tested it tonight as a 5v5 and CTF was a dream. Unfortunately Broccolli decided to go AWOL and left us with 4 players on red team. jerk. Anyway I need one final test with a slight edit to the map, then it should be ready.
