I've seen super 8, and I have to say, it's pretty good. I've seen basically every new movie. I was thinking about watching Hangover 2, but I heard it's really stupid. Good movies, anyone?
Horrible bosses was pretty great. Just saw that the other day. There's not much to say about it other than everyone involved did a good job and the premise was funny.
Yeah, I think I might actually watch that one. I haven't seen it yet. It did look funny from the previews too.
Hangover 2 had you thinking near the beginning that it was going to have a similar storyline to the first... but ended up being much different. It was a decent movie, but not the hype of the first.
You mean not the cult classic of the first. Seriously, our children's children will still be watching the first one thinking as highly of it as we do.
You can't call a movie a cult classic if EVERYONE enjoyed it to the caliber that they did. Nevertheless, I have yet to see the second one, mainly because it had like...0 hype.
Hangover 2 was alright, just more of the same. Should have been called Hangover 1.5, IMO. Had some funny moments in it, but I would probably wait til DVD/BR. Im waiting for that one to come out here, actually. Seen a few previews for it and it looks pretty funny, so Im keen for it. Also, I know Ill probably get shouted at, but Im kinda interested in seeing the new Planet of the Apes film. Mainly for curiosity, mind. And, Im more than likely going to see the new HP movie this Friday night. Im indifferent to it, but Ill see it anyway because the missus wants to. Havent read the books, but I basically know how it ends, anyway. Good excuse to kill a few hours, and it puts me in the "good books", so.... yeh, you know where thats going.
I'm saying it will be a cult classic. Like I said, our children's children will be renting this or blowing the dust off of it in our collections.
Hired a movie called Red Hill this evening. Its bloody good, and Im not being biased because its an Aussie film, its actually a pretty cool movie. If you see it out at your local video rental receptacle, hire it. Dont know if its been distributed abroad, but its worth your time to find out. For those of you in other countries, it stars Ryan Kwanten, the red-neck dude from True Blood (who is actually Australian, and also scarily resembles one of my mates).
I finished watching Paul last week and eh. It's okay but you expect more from the actors on board. It seemed as if it thought it was funnier than it actually was, there are a lot of attempts at one-liners that it's ridiculous. All in all, it's not bad, but it's far from great and I guess it's worth watching if you like the actors.
I thought Paul was pretty good. You're right in saying that there were a lot of attempts at one liners, but the film overall made up for those attempts, I think.
Me and my friend got high and saw it at the midnight screening. Made the movie a hell of a lot more fun. Plus everyone else there were huge Harry Potter freaks, so I'd get confused when suddenly everyone's laughing at something that was quite unfunny.
The newest Harry Potter and Transformer movies were amazing. I think they were the best ones so far. If you didnt see them yet then i would recommend seeing it. The story and action is spectacular.
lol you cant be serious about transformers. the only thing worth watching in that movie was the chicago battle part. potter wasnt bad, i just didnt really care for it because ive never been a big fan of the books.
