    they mentioned in the update that they were listening to the complaints in the various communities. the biggest i see have to do with the AAs (armor lock, jetpack) and bloom. I have a good feeling there will be an option to turn off bloom for classic and other playlists.

    The only way this game can be fixed is by:
    Get rid of armor lock
    Get rid of bloom
    Decrease grenade radius and damage
    Fix lag.

    Grenade radius does not need reducing. If anything it needs upping back to what it was in the beta, but the damage at every point in that radius needs to be decreased. The problem with nades (apart from the fact that they dont bounce for **** anymore) is that a they go from too powerful to useless within a very small difference in proximity to the target. A more gradual but less OP damage distribution would be ideal, though no matter what I'm still gonna miss my H3 nades and the precision that was possible with those things.

    Big ol' head nod. It frustrates me how often I get taken down to no shields and half my health by a single grenade that I thought was nowhere near me, but that's more about the lack of damage tapering than the radius itself. It also frustrates me when I see people waltz right around a couple grenades of mine and then still are impossible to bring down, like they were just outside the "kill you" radius and inside the very thin "dandelion spores would hurt about this much" radius.

    They won't completely remove armor lock, and it doesn't need to be removed (Although IMO it ruins flow), but it needs nerfing.
    Bloom should be fixed, but not removed. But there might be a classic gametype option (fingers crossed).

    As for grenades, what Peg said.

    All I want is a damn playlist that is Halo Reach without all the damn loadouts and armor abilities. Maybe increase the speed and jump height a little. Is that so much to ask? lol

    I am very interested in hearing what they come up with though.

    Indeed, but the problem with that playlist is that the gametype is done pretty horribly, so it's just not fun.

    What Neoshadow said. Additionally, it only includes remakes. Im sick of half assed remakes, needle rifle starts, forgeworld, 120% speed and 110% super damage.

    Every change since the beta got worse for me, My reactions:aw,AWW,noo,nooo they didn't!,NOOOO!,FUUUU.
    But now I'm ok with it now I don't want any more forced major changes.

    Honestly if they only change one thing I hope its Loadout specific traits!

    But I wouldn't mind them changing:
    -More custom game options.
    -Sniper making in unable to kill vehicles so well
    -Land vehicles having resistance or "health"
    -Forge saving glitch,Active camo glitch,Infection betrayal glitch.

    I Don't want them changing:
    -Armor lock
    -Bloom
    -DMR

    I want the option to turn off bloom. It would end all of the arguments about the DMR/Needler, and cause people to stfu.

    I want armor abilities to be removed from starting, and be re-instated as pick ups. That way they would become the game-changers that equipment was supposed to be, rather than spawning with power-weapons.

    I want jetpack removed.

    I want banshee nerfed.

    I want the weapon spawns on countdown ****ing FIXED, there should NOT be two swords and three shotguns in the control of one team EVER, there should never be more than ONE of each on a map.

    I want the matchmaking rotation to be fixed, taking out the ****.

    I want a group of people who do have final say in matchmaking maps, that actually understands how to make a well-designed map.

    I want the creator of the inverse-symmetric pit remake burned at the stake. Then resurrected and bled to death. Twice.

    I want a Audi.

    MOST IMPORTANTLY, I would give an arm and a leg to be able to bring a party into theater. That is the single thing I miss most about reach; I want to be able to go in after a great game and show off my sick no-scopes. I want to brag about the double-kill ninja. I want to watch my friends extermination. I want theater god-damn fixed.

    But realistically? Maybe 2 of those could every happen, three if I am lucky.

    I pretty much agree with every bit you said, especially turning on/off Bloom in gametypes. I can see why some people would like it, but for the competitive player, I really don't like to leave my aim pretty much up to a dice-roll. It's just so random and is based on who can spam faster or who just gets luckier and lands the 5 shot. It simply just isn't good for competitive play. At all.

    I'm really really excited to see what changes/options they'll be implementing!!! :D

    The word "This" cannot express how much I agree with this.

    Especially the part about the Audi. However, not everything we want will make it. Armor Abilities are probably going to stay as loadouts.

    Seriously hoping for the option to turn off bloom though.

    Are you talking about Rebirth, Cade? Honestly I think that's one of the better forge maps in MM, at least in Arena. Enclosed and that one in the crypt (I forget the name) are just awful, Kingdom is OK but quite open from corner to corner so spawns are dodgy, and Select can be fun but I dont particularly care for how top mid works and spawns can be a bit hairy on that too. Not saying Rebirth is a good map, but by the standards of Arena forge maps there are worse offenders.

    Pegasi, whatever that map is completely nullifies me. Literally, I have played it ten times and have yet to get over 8 kills. And out of those games, I have yet to make it to the other side of the map. I enjoy Select way more, although I agree about the wonky top-mid. I agree that enclosed and comp are ****, and I would place kingdom in that category too, but in my mind nothing is worse than Rebirth. The gameplay literally comes down to a retarded cycle;

    Everyone rushes into rocket hall and gets nade-raped.
    Everyone sits on their own side and takes pot-shots, anyone who pushes dies.
    Everyone sits on their own side and takes pot-shots, anyone who pushes dies.
    Everyone sits on their own side and takes pot-shots, anyone who pushes dies.
    Everyone sits on their own side and takes pot-shots, anyone who pushes dies.
    Everyone sits on their own side and takes pot-shots, anyone who pushes dies.
    Rockets respawn.
    Repeat.


    I cannot play that map.

    My wish list:

    -Bloom fixed, but not removed. Faster reset to center to allow pacers faster kills and larger blooming when spamming the trigger to deter noobs and increase skill gap. An option to turn it off in customs would be fine, but keep it in matchmaking with changes.

    -AL toned down to 4 seconds and a max of two uses per charge when going in and out of it. No looking 360 degrees around yourself when using it. No shedding plasma grenades if you were stuck before being in AL. EMP blasts from GL and PP disable it and depletes the charge completely. These changes would require the user to stick with their team more if they want to be saved.

    -Jetpack GTFO

    -Longer recharge on Evade

    -Frag nade explosion radius slightly reduced

    -Melee damage bleeds. I'm sick of people not even trying to get into a gun battle as they sprint up to you for a double-melee and all those AR rounds you put into them don't mean squat if you didn't pop their shields.

    -Focus Rifle and Plasma Launcher buffs. More damage for FR to compensate for completely giving away your position. More homing on PL so it's actually a power weapon and not a joke in non-BtB maps, yet not as much homing as in the beta.

    -Buff the Tank's machine gun. Limit main cannon to 12 shots.

    -Make Banshee's plasma turrets fire 1.5x faster. Limit Banshee bombs to 12 shots.

    -Drop shield buff. Lasts for a little less time, but can take double the damage, or 2 tank rounds/ Banshee bombs.
