Simple problem I need some sort of help with. I seem to be having trouble setting up a gametype where a player picks up an Armour Ability and uses it to run around the map, completeing puzzles. I think I have the right settings, using the AA with the HB_Goal label, and the deletable objects with the Skee_Ball_Object label, but whatever I do, the items don't seem to disappear. I have tried increasing the size and shape of the zone that the AA has, but this doesnt seem to work either. What am I doing wrong? Any tips would be much appreciated. Kthx ♥ Sky
Is the HB_Goal set to a specific team color? It needs to be team-specific - if it's neutral the game doesn't see it as valid for scoring. (You can't do FFA Haloball, if you're wondering.) Apart from that, the only thing I know that affects it is the shape settings - it needs to be sufficiently large that it encompasses the center point of the object that is set as a skee ball obj.
hey before you get too much progress listen up... every 45 seconds or maybe minute EVERY Skee_ball_obj in the game will despawn. They then respawn depending on the respawn time which might mean never. This causes a huge problem for puzzles because things will randomly be gone and someone could just skip around the map. This is the reason you should NOT use insane gametypes for puzzles. i had to learn this the hard way after creating a puzzle that probably took over a week and many many hours
