Two Trinity Knots ( also known as Triquetras ) make up the floor of this Grifball map. Also the device Hanging in the centre of the map is what deploys the bomb onto the map ( The bomb falls from the sky if it has a chance to reset ).
Looks like a pretty cool and unique grifball map. It looks like it would cause some framerate drops. Does it?
Well i haven't played a full game on it yet just me and a friend making sure that all the spawns worked and that the bomb fell in the right place but if anyone is up for testing with/for me with a full 8 players and get back to me i would be very grateful.
Wow, nice aesthetics. I was not expecting this to be a Griffball map. I always thought that those symbols were known as Triskellions, because of the book I read. This does look like a really nice map, and nice addition of the bomb deployer. Never seen any Griffball map do something like that before. But I think that the Platform, Y's seem a little out of place. Nonetheless, I will give it a shot and am probably going to have a blast on it.
Yeah i might have to raise the grid up 0.1 to make it just over the top of all the floor pieces but i think thats it. Thanks
Nothing gets in the way, it's all "Eye Candy". The grid makes a flat floor so there are no bumps or stuff. The reason i "Decorate" the floor is so that it looks different from the "normal" flat floor design. I try to think outside the box. I completely agree. The aesthetics look great except for the platform Y. I does seem a little out of place. But I guess its fine. Oh and what did you meen you fixed the floor? I thought it looked fine. Nice map though.
I raised the grid(floor) by 0.1 to make the corners 4x4 inline with everything else. The corners where showing through the grid.
The triquetras on the floor are seriously cool. Its a nice change of scenery from the usual bland grifball maps, and didn't cause any framerate drops in the game I played on it.
Sweet! did you let the bomb reset and watch it fall from the sky ? I was afraid that the bomb wouldn't spawn the way i does now but it seems to be working okay. [br][/br]Edited by merge: Also i have a pentagram map that is designed the same way as this, it should be in this catagory too.
This should go into matchmaking, you should post this up on Grifballhub.com, your only going to get downloads from Forgehub, but if you want a better chance of getting your grifball maps in matchmaking Grifballhub would be the place to do it
Well it would be great to have it in matchmaking. I submited it to grifballhub.com and it was posted about an hour ago i think in the grifball map sectionif you want to rate, post feedback it's there too. Or you can do it on my bungie.net fileshare.
