Dual Map Preview Maps made by: JGarb ______________________________ Hello forgehub, I am here to show you two upcomming maps of mine. There are two resons that I am posting this. One, is one to show you what i have been doing over the past few weeks. And two, to get your opinions about the maps. I want to know what maps, you think, look the best. This is also why i have a dual map preview, to compare them and vote which you like the most. I know there are just three pictures for each map, but try your best to get a feel for the map. There are two pictures of the inside of the map, and one overview pic. Once you look at the pictures, decide and vote in the poll above. Enough of me talking, here are the pictures, and tell me what you think! (I'm really Tired, Ill fix grammar and stuff in the morning. I'm surprised I even got this out.) _________________________ Map Option 1 This is a map is symmetrical, and is made in the quary. It supports 3v3 and most gametypes are already compatible. It has a central walkway that is connected to curved platforms. Rocks are placed between the platforms and has a park bench in the middle. Power weapons include sniper and granade launcher, with an evade. The layout is pretty simple and I'm very happy with this map. __________________________ Map Option 2 This is a asymmetrical map, that is based around water. This supports 2v2, and also is compatible with most gametypes. It has two team bases that are connected by cuved walkways, and surrounds a cental water area. The to bases are enclosed with close combat, but the middle is pretty open and has good sightlines. The power weapons also include a sniper and a granade launcher, but has a dropshield. The layout is a little more complex, but is easy to understand. This is one of my favorite maps, I am very happy with the final product. __________________________ Thanks for checking out the maps. Be sure to comment and vote for what map you like the best^
I like the layout of the first one, but the second one looks nicer, and the top-down view really compliments it.
Yeah, I know exactly what you mean, and I totaly agree. The first one deffinatly has a better layout, but the second just looks alot better.
I like your picnic table in the first one and how much of the grass area you used. In the second map I love your curved blocks. They look really nice. Overall they both look really nice, but I'm going to have to choose the first one. I love the benches, the picnic table, the stair case, the arch way, and the grass. The map holds a common theme throughout it, and it is an enjoyable theme. The map also looks like it has a better layout. Really both of them are great, but the first one has a slight edge.
they both look super smexy. i like the 2nd map more than the others.. there was a third but i guess you're not posting it. o well they look good cant wait to test them.
Wow I like both of these alot! My vote is for the first one. It looks really fancy. The walkway in the center reminds me of Beachfront the firefight map.
When you showed me these two maps I have to say I was more impressed with the second one you have pictured here. It's a lot more thought out and complex than the first one. The first one isn't bad, but if you were to only progress on one of them, I'd definitely go with the second one.
I think both of these maps are promising and I really like the look of both but i gotta go for number 2. I think the first one has too much environment and not enough building but the second one has the perfect balance
Quite honestly, both of these maps play wonderfully and their layouts are simply great. If I had to choose, I'd pick both...It's a tough one. I liked the gameplay more on the grass one, so I'm going with that.
Not too flashy, simple. Looks like each structure serves a specific purpose. Really digging these two maps.
Yes, yes and yes. I'm glad that you like these maps. ___________________________________________________________________________ The poll is going well, thanks for the votes and the comments guys. I'm glad you like them. This is really helping me decide which to post.
