So recently I've seen many people with the Marathon/Security helmet, now, being a Marathon fan, i was interested in getting it, how do i get it? I only have two types of armor and i don't know how to get more.
Nahh, i didn't bother to look, lol, i thought i would just ask people on a website about Halo stuff. But my friend got it and he didn't have all the achievements and he had no clue how it happened.
Certain parts (shoulders and helmet) are unlocked at different amounts of gamerscore, usually 780-1000, but I don't remember if you have to get that much from the original achievements, or if you can get some "help" with the DLC Achievements.
Its buggy, but at around 49 achievements/1000 gamerscore (whichever comes first) you should get it. DLC counts to that number.
Alright well, im gonna need help with some of the vidmasters, where can i set up a game for those, because i need four people for some of them.
Armor Permutations Getting 1000 Gamerscore in Halo 3 is an easy feat due to the expansion pack achievements and what not. It was harder for me because I had to get 1000 before any of the map packs came out. But anyways, if you're looking to find some people to help you with the Vidmasters, I suggest going to the Halo 3 Discussion Forum, which you are in now. *EDIT: Be sure to get 1000 Gamerscore or more because Security Helmet and Shoulders tend to be glitchy. One day you can have them, the next, they can be locked. So watch out.
You unlock the helmet when you get 1000 GS, but it disappears and the only way to keep it permanently is to unlock all of the original achievements.
