    Dude I loved this map, its was great fun to play on. I liked the window collesiums. It was definately away from what you normally do. Took you awhile to post though. Nice job anyway

    I didn't think you helped me THAT much, but you did help with some of the important aspects of this map. I don't see why I can't give you a special thanks. Also, no I'm not angry or frustrated or anything. It's hard to tell emotions over text. So, no we're not growing apart haha ;) You can make anything you want, I'm no one to stop you from making a map similar or inspired by my map. Goodluck my friend.

    This map was definitely your best for gameplay. You spent forever on this map to make everything perfect and I think that it payed off. I believe that this is your best map to date. This map really inspired me and gave me new ideas for my own maps. The glass coliseum railings were a genius idea that really added to the map. Good luck on your next creation. I will be happy to help you, if you need any ideas.

    Well EightBall from a man of your skills, i expected more! You're a man who has created stacks upon stacks of amazing creations! Though sadly this one never really caught my eyes like others you have built! The structure lacked in an aesthetics feel and didn't have as much "Color" as other maps you'v built. I guess I just expected much more from the long wait for this map lol. I do like the placement and it feels like it has a equal exchange of open areas and closed quarters. It does have a wonderful bright feel to it which does make it feel real relaxing, but I don't know if that's what Halo:Reach is about lol. Overall a great map, well built, and a nice balance of color, but it just felt that it didn't have enough especially with your range of talent! Good job though on the map it's still amazing! :)

    I remember my thought when I first saw this map, "Oh cool, Eightball is helping someone with their map" This map is such a far cry from the others you've done, and yet is easily the best. I see you've received some criticism on the aesthetics and you may have to put up with that for a bit due to the great visuals we've seen from you before. But visuals are not the only thing that makes a map.

    The gameplay on this map is so solid a diamond couldn't cut it. Beyond that it still looks better than 99% of the maps posted here. You get no complaints from me and I'll be keeping this one on my harddrive till Halo 4 finally arrives.

    yep remember playing this one its really simple a good feat for 2v2's adding the bridge really buffed the maps flow makeing the layout yummy,as for FR Zfighting i failed to find any. when i was playing i didn't have a hard time moving around or anything hell i was ez able to flank the foes almost right of the bat. team work is a key element to this maps gameplay what i love to see. hell the game was prof of that eight-ball toke the high ground and held it the best i could i run out and played the slayer and ran the flanking routs and what not. "ya did good son" lol

    Argh, first my maps don't have a good layout and need better gameplay and now they need more aesthetics? What do you want from me? If you haven't noticed, I think I put in quite a few aesthetics and just because there are no pretty lights doesn't mean the map isn't aesthetically pleasing. I think gameplay is alittle more important than aesthetics.

    TO EVERYONE who thinks that this map isn't my BEST work, I'm disappointed in you. You're only thinking about aesthetics and that right there is why I changed my style this time.

    What's even more disappointing is I can't even get some of my other good friends to comment on the map.

    Hollow, I think you need to take a better look at the map and maybe play some games on it, if you haven't already?

    I'm getting tired of trying to please everyone.

    On a good note, I'm glad you enjoy the atmosphere of the map. I really tried to do something different- build a map in the quarry. Thanks for the comments.

    Thanks Atlas. You're one of the reasons I don't stop forging. People seem to be missing the important aspects of this map. Rather, they'd just comment on how it's not their style of map or the aesthetics. So, thanks for taking the time to give me REAL feedback on a map I tried VERY hard on.

    Eightball, i was gonna wait till this kinda of died then i was going to give it a necro bump buuut so many people dont know what they are talking about i have to jump in. Eigthball is one of those forgers you will never be.. to everyone who says aesthetics are gone on this map i say this : eightball builds structures out of aesthetics! This A symmetrical map blows my mind. i always build symmetrical because i cant do Asymmetrical : ( I remember when i first got in here and tried to push some ideas at you.. only a few stuck but im glad you didnt take them all into account because your better off for it. Remember what I had at the grenade launcher? hahaha but the two medium railings and rock and collesium windows blah blah blah those were keepers fo sho
    Gameplay is superb
    Aesthetics are superb
    TOMisHIGH says superb : P

    Wow, thanks Tom. You helped me save a few important pieces that I needed badly and you really gave me some good ideas for future maps while also helping me to improve this map. I'm glad you like the map and I'm very appreciative for all of your help.

    PS: I can't lie, you're superb ;)

    This looks really great 8ball :) I havent got a chance to play on it yet but just flying through a forge it looks very solid. Im one of those who actually enjoys that your expanding your creativity, I've really enjoyed your maps in the past and this seems to be much better balance wise. One thing I enjoy about your forging is that you can take such a small amount of budget for the most part and do amazing things with it, I really love your small aesthetic touches to this map and it seems very thought out.
    I myself enjoy a blend of aesthetic and great gameplay because in the end both always will matter and create a tense atmosphere during games, or a good distraction for your enemys :p. I honestly cant wait till you release your next map, I would love to see a good 4vs4 map in a style similiar to this from you :). I hope you continue to branch yourself out to different forging styles and methods hit me up on live sometime if your ever planning a game or need some forging advice I'd enjoy that.

    yo eightball, great map. i had a lot of fun on this.. im sadened by the fact you deleted the very beautiful cone face i made on that rock for you.. but besides that the rest of the map looks fantastic.

    greatjob on no sword in the middle haha i played this on a 4v4 it had wonderful gameplay i give this one a solid 9,and i would love to see more from you that looklike this....

    The lack of wall coliseums is a great way to begin new projects because of their bland design and huge dependence Eightball. I am happy to hear there is no light frame problems or any other main problems with maps. Once again, eye openers here and there which add a good touch and a well put out map but I have to be honest Eightballl, I did not really find the map in place compared to some maps. I do not know exactly what, personally the map felt just... bland, dull. Gameplay definitively felt good but it seemed to miss what I enjoyed out of your maps.

    I cannot praise this map but I can praise your new push in forging to a new zone to find your boundaries. It's just my opinion man, it does not mean others will enjoy this map.

    Err, thanks, I guess. I find it hard to believe this map is bland due to the natural enviornment and the open-roof. I think it is quite bright and colorful, really. I'm a bit disappointed that you won't give the map praise- did you get any games on it? As I've said before, many times, this map is meant for better gameplay as all competitive maps are supposed to be. Well, maybe I can make things better with a new map I've been working on for some time. I'll have to show you. It combines great aesthetics with a well-thought out map layout design.

    I actually kind of expected this kind of feedback. The pictures dont really capture the map, which is amazing.

    Eightball, you've brought this on yourself. You characterized yourself with beautiful maps which have good gameplay, so that when you make a map with good aesthetics and amazing gameplay, people complain.

    I guess I did bring it on myself. Some people just don't understand the quality of gameplay on this map. I understand that aesthetcis are important, but this map doesn't lack aesthetic appeal. My next map combines those two qualities well, so we'll see.

    Hello, ok my first opinions may have been harsh, but I understand map, it is simple and cleanly forged, with good framerate. A simple lay out that is very effective in team games. I like how you have broken lines of sight, and the weapons are balanced.
