    Nope, no multiplayer, thankfully.
I think I came harder from this than I did watching the forge world trailer.

The only thing that bothers me is: Are dragon shouts(?) going to be like the next Sigil Stones? Meaning they are only acquirable by killing each of (let's say) 30 dragons?

I'd much rather have dragons spawn as regular enemies, not just a set number.

Mehrunes Dagon once ruled over tamriel but the other daedra princes banished him to the oblivion planes for some reason or another. He now has amassed the power he needs to return and take back tamriel and he employs the cult to help him do it seeing as without the fires being extinquished he cannot open any gates. Although the game doesn't actually tell you this information on itself you have to do some research into the lore so i can see where you got your ideas from :)

OH MY GOD JIZZ IN MY PANTS

...now that that's all said and done with...

i really appreciate the time and effort the designers took into making this a VERY advanced and realistic game. i mean the animals thinking and acting they way they do in-game coupled with the almost life-like graphics that have been incorporated is simply jaw-dropping. i mean yea, we're probably going to get a game in a little while that will make this one look terrible (i'll probably still love it but thats because i love all the elder scrolls games) but as of now i would bet money to officially declare bethesda a godly company. so far everything that bethesda has touched has turned to solid gold on steroids compared to the other games being released at the same time. now that i'm done ranting about how RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING i think Skyrim is going to be... now for the negative factors of this epic creation (and believe me there aren't that many (from at least what i've seen from leaked content/interviews)). for one, you can't ride dragons (and yes... dragons are still epic). but really!? i mean they should seriously look into something in terms of riding animals other than horses. the horses do get a bit tiresome. sure, theres fast travel like in oblivion but sometimes you just want to take a leisurely stroll through the beautiful landscape while cutting down bandits with a sword... you know. the horse can be a little mundane at times. second rant... i mean reason... yea thats it. the karma system. frankly, i hate it. hated it in Fallout 3. hated it in Fallout: New Vegas. most likely going to hate it in Skyrim. if you want to kill someone covertly and NOT have anyone notice THERE SHOULD BE A REASON FOR THAT. i really wouldn't put it past them to change that. you know when you want to be secretly evil but every time you do a bad deed you lose karma. yea i know this is a pointless rant but i would rather the karma system be abolished. now people running in fear from you if you have a sizable bounty on your head? that'd be a different story. and now for the races. yea, a minor complaint, i know, but a complaint nonetheless. as been told in sites including leaked content, there are apparently no new races? i mean the LEAST they could do for their 5th game is maybe add a new race or two. yea it's not that big of a deal but it's still kind of a bummer. I SHALL RANT NO FURTHER FOR THINE ASSIDUITY (it means attention)
^ ^ PREPARE FOR MY ADEQUATE WALL OF TEXT ^ ^

I'd recommend that you buy the PC version, I think all of rants will be sorted out quickly by some simple mods.

Now I know what he says... I just amused myself by pretending he said 'FOR SPARTA!'

I can't wait for this game. I am only buying games thats are single player only (mainly) this year and this is at the top of my list. Elder Scrolls: Oblivion was one of my favourite xbox 360 games. The main story was good and the guild quests where some of my favourite moments in gaming, all of which had an amazing ending.

It sounds more like "Fust droh dah" to me, I could be wrong though, I can't hear the "shoop da whoop" in the laser thing. I guess we'll find out if it ever gets spelled by Bethesda.

Dang it guys! I just pushed the button again and now I have a compulsive urge to watch the trailer again. Now everytime someone posts here, I'm gonna see that link, and I'm gonna follow it, then I'm gonna have to watch the trailer again. You waste my life.

    BULLETIN: (updated June 16, 2011)
IGN Commentary with Todd Howard on Skyrim. (Spoiler alert: there's no new information or video)

    YouTube - ‪Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - E3 2011: IGN Live Commentary‬‏

NEW ARTICLE: (I haven't read the entire thing)

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    ORIGINAL THREAD STARTS HERE
    BULLETIN HISTORY BELOW

After starting multiple threads with different videos concerning the upcoming title, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, I've decided to just start a discussion thread like everyone else. I'll keep it neat and tidy, and you can expect me to keep it up to date too. And what can you get from this thread? Pretty much up to date albums, which will be added every maybe twenty images released or so, all the videos that are released, and hell maybe even some webpages. The release date is November 11, 2011, which is also Veteran's Day, and a Friday, so you can expect to have that day off from school if you're in High School and select colleges. If there's a midnight release at Gamestop, it'll probably be the first one I attend (which I'm pretty excited to say).

So let's get started with some pictures:
    View Slideshow
I'm managing this account, so when more photos are released, I'll add a bunch of them to a new slideshow so you don't see the same images twice, although I think there's one repeat in there now.

    Throw in some videos:
    Skyrim Video Playlist
The videos are there (the link takes you to a grid view, organized by date released). I'm currently managing that channel, and all the videos that have been released of Skyrim will be added onto the channel as soon as I learn of their existence. Which won't take long. I swear I have ****ing OCD for information about this game.
On a side note, the most recent video there, the E3 2011 Live Showcase, was blocked by the assholes at Comcast Entertainment Group. The one before that is sort of an abridged version, which isn't blocked, but I'll be uploading the blocked one to a different site soon like the BAMF I am. Link to be provided.

Hey, how about some hardcore links:
Skyrim - Google News... This link auto updates Skyrim news if you haven't used Google News before.
Elder Scrolls Facebook Page... Like this ****!
Official Site... This is the Official Site if you didn't read that

And yeah, that's some stuff. So, I guess this is the part where you start discussing the game. Looks pretty cool, eh?

Awesome, I'll be able to make this my go-to page for info.

Anyway, does anyone know what class and race they're planning on using after seeing some gameplay?

I want to explore everywhere, without fast-travel. I honestly don't know why they went through all the work to make such a beautiful game, and then give players the option to not even venture anywhere.

Fast travel is just an option though.

I honestly can't see them not putting in fast travel, although I probably won't use it all that often considering the way the world is. It was fine using it in Oblivion because the world was the same thing over and over.

This was done mainly because the old Mark and Recall system could have caused problems as a means of travel. Scrolls wouldn't have been quite as effective in Cyrodiil either.
