Cera takes **** roles. Also, he's got a wimpier demeanor than Eisenberg.

I can usually tell the two apart based on how interesting the movie is.

Michael Cera can claim no responsibility for the awesomeitude of that movie, that was all Edgar Wright.

Michael Cera was awesome in Scott Pilgrim, and it wouldn't have been the same movie without him.

You're right, instead of Michael Cera, it would be another guy.

never got around to seeing Scott Pilgrim. I was still holding an epic face palm after the atrocity that was Year One.

Year One was an absolutely terrible movie. Interesting idea, but really badly written with a few good one liners in it. I kinda lost faith in Jack Black after that. Then he did Gullivers Travels. Nuff said. D:

Scott Pilgrim was a really good movie. If youve got a short attention span then youre set, its constantly changing and has lots of flashing lights and colours to keep our primitive brains entertained. Its actually really funny, too. Go rent or buy it.

sober edit: yeah you drunk maniac, I agree it's a fairly decent movie.

    Transformers: Dark of the Moon
Just saw the midnight screening. It's awesome! Arguably the best of the trilogy (although that doesn't really say much). It had perfect balance between the humans and the transformers, both in action and dialogue. Unlike a lot of other action films, the third act didn't disappoint or drag on, it elevated the stakes. A couple twists and turns and I'd definitely recommend watching Dark of the Moon (still a stupid title).

    Limitless
Was tempted to watch this in the cinemas but ultimately decided against it and now I regret it. Limitless was actually very good, a lot better than I thought. While some of the dialogue is a bit cheesy at times, the premise was interesting and translated very well into a film. Bradley Cooper's acting was solid and carried the movie. And the few action scenes were choreographed really well.

    Jackass 3.5
Basically, a whole bunch of extra footage they didn't use in the movie plus a few interviews with the cast. If you like Jackass; then watch it, simple as that. If you're saddened by Ryan Dunn's death, then I guess hold off watching it. Or don't, it's your choice.

    Hall Pass
Vulgar and funny. It was good but it's really nothing special. If you've seen the trailer, then you'll be able to predict everything.
They keep talking about sex, get a week off marriage and then realise they actually do love their wives. Shocking, isn't it?
There are some hilarious moments interspersed with a predictable plot plus some hot chicks!

    Arthur
Very funny. Very enjoyable. It's a comedy with heart. Russell Brand being clever and witty, not much more to say.

I saw this one with my bro and our friend when it was in the theaters and honestly didn't expect it to be that good, mainly because of Owen Wilson (and the last good movie him being in was Wedding Crashers.)

Granted it wasn't like seeing the first Hangover for the first time, but it was ****ing hysterical. If you're looking for a good laugh definitely check it out at the least.

Well, Ive pretty much seen one movie (at the cinema) a week going on ten weeks now, I think. And pretty much all of them, bar one, have been great. Ill try and remember them all, not chronologically. Thor, Paul, Kung Fu Panda 2, Bridesmaids, Xmen First Class, PotC: On Stranger Tides, Hangover 2, Source Code... and one more I think. Cant remember.

Out of all those, Bridesmaids was the worst. It was alright, there was a few funny bits in it, but it just didnt hold my interest and you can guess the entire plot from the get-go. Plus, the lead actress, Kristen Wiig, isnt really leading role material, in my opinion. She was just slightly too boring, and didnt have the type of personality one would usually attribute to the lead in a movie. Dont get me wrong, she was pretty funny in some parts, but everything else fell flat.

I would definitely suggest seeing Source Code, Paul, Xmen, Thor and Kung Fu Panda. They're all great (yes, even KFP :p). Hangover 2 and PotC were good, but more of what you'd expect. Thor was a little predictable too, but it was still sweet. Xmen rocked for obvious reason. Paul was awesome and funny, overstayed its welcome in a few parts, but it didnt diminish the fun.

Source Code is very worthy of your attention. In my opinion, it was undeservedly overlooked (at least in Australia) in terms of proper advertising and information about it. Its an excellent movie, and everyone I know who has seen it has loved it. I highly recommend seeing this movie if its still in cinemas near you or about to come out. If its been and gone and you havent seen it, hire or buy it when it comes out on DVD or Blu-Ray.

I was quite disappointed with source code. I was expecting an action movie with a bit of intellectual clout but whilst the concept was interesting enough, Duncan Jones surprisingly executed it badly and it the dialogue made it all a bit b-movie. Really disappointing actually cuz Jones debuted with a brilliant movie in Moon. Oh well, his upcoming movie Mute looks promising.

I saw Limitless, Thor, X-men: First Class and Super 8 this year. In retrospect, the only film I wish I had also watched is Hanna.

X-Men First Class was way better than I expected...its not "lame" and not too cartoony, if that makes sense, like the other Marvel films
