Halo CE (pc version) had the mythos which looked human because it had hydrolics and a giant Gauss/MAC cannon on top
Johnson begs to differ, He will fly his ghost over to you and choke you. In your sleep. Cuz hes Freddy Kruger.
Did you just diss Johnson? He was shot by a giant laser and still lived to give you HIS amazing laser! SPARTANS respect Johnson.
Yes sergant johnson does have lasers eys and so as a result he and chuck norous join forces and destroy you all. lil.
Oooookk, gotta address a few things here... The gun you fired at the end of Reach to destroy the Phantom dropships was a MAC cannon. Like multiple people said there are differing versions. Although, Im pretty sure in one of the Halo novels by Eric Nylund, a ship-board MAC cannon was fired in atmosphere to destroy a Covie stronghold. Dont quote me on that, its based on a memory from a few years ago now. If Bungie had a care for physics, then Spartans wouldnt be able to jump 8 feet in the air, effortlessly. ; ) Johnson is a Spartan-I, and, apparently, Spartans can commandeer any vehicle, be it Covie or Human in origin. But that leads us to the question as to why the Chief couldnt commandeer one in any of the games. Maybe Johnsons neurosynaptic pathways are more advanced than Chiefs? Hmm...
Johnson can'y become infected because the Orion (Spartan-1) project changed his genetic make up, and the flood spores can't match it. Therefor they cannot infect him, I believe Johnson was the only Spartan-1 that this had happened to, but I'm not too sure.
Actually he had some kind of disease or condition of some description, which the Flood infector saw as a flaw, and hence, didnt infect him. I think it was referenced to in Contact Harvest, but you had to put two and two together. Bungie has a habit of overriding the lore written in the novels, but theyve adopted some of what was put in them. Which parts (of either), Im not sure exactly, apart from the Spartan IIIs, so the reason why Johnson didnt get infected may still be up to speculation. Sorry, havent been online much lately. Playing Halo, anyway. If I see you online next time Im on Halo, depending on my mood, Ill hit you up. ; )
Ok lets do a quick run threw of this post... It goes from scarab to halo 3 to halo 2 to johnson....... so much for being on topic haha [br][/br]Edited by merge: Now I have finished my sig to show how off topic is bad
If the UNSC made a land based vehicle that 'walked' I imagine it would look something like the AT-AT Walkers out of Star Wars... Maybe something like this, only a little larger! Big Dog
Off topicness is welcomed by me. Speaking of which, why dont they stick the worms that control the Scarabs into humans or spartans, or even... flood?
Because theyre sentient beings, not infecters. Theyre actually Lekgolo, which are what make up the Hunters, or Mgalekgolo. I dont think it would be possible for them to inhabit and control a host, only kill them. It would be like putting a snake into someones body, it wouldnt accomplish much apart from it being in the host.
