To be honest I set the bar high personally of a Halo game. Sure it's not made by Bungie, but they took the initiative to continue their story so it shouldn't be any less of is 'predecessors'. I just want some more info lol!
Same. People can tell me to lower my expectations, but it won't matter. I expect the games to be nothing short of incredible. That's probably why I didn't love Reach as much. But I'm not expecting as much out of Anniversary as I am out of 4, considering I've seen everything Anniversary has to offer already.
I never said anyone should lower expectations. I said they should make up **** they don't see in front of them.
I wasn't referring to your comment, I just meant in general. There are always those who say not to expect much, and those people are right. But it changes nothing.
Why wouldn't I expect Halo: CE multiplayer out of a Halo: CE remake or remastering? It's just about as big as the campaign for me (and others). Deal with it.
I understand why, because they don't want to split the fanbase, but still. If you remake a game, why not remake ALL of it.
I'm not saying you're wrong, I just don't think we can say exactly how the gameplay will be. I'm hoping it's not exactly like REACH. (Bloom and AAs, please gtfo). But that's just my opinion, and I'm sure there are plenty of you who would disagree with me. Nonetheless, I'm definitely picking this one up.
Uh... they said they changed NOTHING about the campaign gameplay. The over-powered pistol and everything will be there. The multiplayer will be like Reach because it will BE REACH. The maps will be for Reach DLC.
They said it will run on Reach's engine and that they hope to make "classic gametypes" in so many words, in the blog post I linked earlier on in the thread. Perhaps a major title update or something like that... I don't know. It definitely seemed hinted at though.
I just imagine them making a few custom gametypes and slapping a new playlist together. Works for me I guess.
I think it'd be really weird with the bloom though. Probably not going to happen, let alone possible, but adding a "bloom" option in custom gametypes would be pretty cool. lol
Yeah, I actually do kind of wish they went with the Halo: CE multiplayer remastered also, it would be awesome to play in that type of style with say the Reach Engine, but it not being Halo: Reach.
wow I hope not I enjoy playing Halo CE for PC online, I was hoping I'd get the same experience on 360 (((
