Same exact Halo: CE gameplay! (Not including multiplayer gameplay.)

Was anybody else disappointed by this? :/

Not really, although I always thought that the C.E gameplay was a little slow.

Really? I thought Reach had the slowest gameplay. To each his own I suppose. I just figured since they were remastering a whole game that you'd have the option to battle buddies with classic Halo settings and weapons like old times. S' whateva though.

Same, I was hoping the multiplayer wouldn't be Reach, so we wouldn't have to deal with AA's or Bloom or anything like that. Which is pretty disappointing IMO.

Can you even comprehend the massive **** storm that would ensue if this were not the case? I don't care either way, but some fanboys would say otherwise.

Can't wait until Halo Fest at PAX in august. Hopefully we'll see some more of Halo 4, and some decent gameplay of Anniversary.

His codpiece's been replaced by a large bulge so it seems.

I don't much like chief's new armor, I really wish 343 stuck with Bungie's Mk VI design in H3; I thought they had it nailed down perfectly. How the hell did he change in a ship with no air anyways?

Honestly my favorite part of Halo is the lore behind it and although I'm on the fence in regards to whether or not I should get it just to continue chief's story, I really hope 343 takes Halo in the right direction (I wholeheartedly agree with what playahata27 was saying before). All the graphical work they've done on the remastered version of CE really seems like it was a labor of love though, I might rent it or something just to play the campaign again.

Yah, I'm not sure about the new look for Chief. He's just too bulky now he looks like a Gears character. I think that's what the Spartan's in Halo Wars looked like so they made have made him into their idea of what a Spatan should be.

I do think the way they did the graphics for CEA was pretty cool. Their not as modern as Reach, but I think it's a stylistic choice.

Wut^, they look better than Reach's. And the fact you can change from new engine to Halo C.E with a touch of a button is amazing.

About the new Chief, I'm pretty sure that's just trailer.

I don't think you can do that.

    lol.

I'm definitely looking forward to the Halo 4 game. I feel like the CE will either be a huge flop or a decent game at best. I'm not going to shovel $60 over for a campaign that looks a little nicer than the first time I played it. If it has some type of forge added to it then I will probably end up getting it though...

It was said in the Exclusive video. Pretty clearly. And other places.

Yes they look better but look at the parts where you can see the chief. It's a more simplistic style than Reach. In Reach there are dozens of small parts but it's a lot smoother in CEA. You can see the same thing if you look at your bungie profile where it shows the pictures of your armors from Halo 3 through Reach. CEA kinda looks like H3 a Reach polish. Although now that I think of it it may be the MkV armor. I think it kinda looks like that in Reach as well so that's likely too.

Jesus, am I the only one who seemed to notice that at 1:06 that the map shown could quite possibly be the new forgeworld. (put's on a hopeful face)

What makes you think that exactly?

Ok, what i think on the trailor.

firstly, Chief's armor was damaged in the start of Halo3, so he might have repaired it somehow on the ship. just a thought.

second, the gun was in fact firing grenades. he put in a new one when he reached outside the ship.

third, I think that the jetpack he used wasnt a jetpack so much as boosters for use in Zero G, as Chief put it to good use for that. itd make sense fo them to be built in for that purpose, rather than a full blown jetpack, though i suppose he may have found on in the ship's hold or something. i still think Zero G boosters.

And finally, since i just recently beat Halo Wars, im confident in thinking this. the thing the ships heading towards is, in my belief, a Forerunner Shield world. the opening leads to the inside.

also, on the whole Halo CEA engine thing,

they dont let you play the reach engine in the campaign, they simply retextured everything. the thing that they let you change is the graphics, letting you change things from being the new reskin, to being the original skin.

It's almost definitely forerunner. Covenant technology doesn't look like that AT ALL. Here's hoping the story is interesting.

It's good to see that 343 cares about the canon and Halo itself.

Halo CEA's graphics are amazing, especially the Forerunner structures and the terrain. And the flood wasn't shown at all in the video, Sabre/343 probably made them more disgusting this time.

Halo 4 looks good, but assuming that the Forerunner planet has living Forerunners, it would be boring if the whole story was focused on the planet and the Forerunners the whole time.

    3sk Pistol, slow? I don't even....

CEA is JUST campaign. If the campaign didn't use the Reach engine, CEA wouldn't use the Reach engine at all. They specifically said that they retooled it to run on the Reach engine.

In the ViDoc they said that they looked at both Halo: CE Multiplayer code and Halo: Reach Multiplayer code. I'm so confused. D:

Is there an actual statement somewhere that says it's going to be like the ODST expansion.
