That's not a bad thing. The forged remakes served their purpose, but now these maps will be playable splitscreen and will be able to have the finer details that couldn't be replicated adequately in forge.
I don't think it's Covenant. I think its part of that weird death star looking thing at the end of Halo 3, probably Forerunner.
Well, to me it looked just like that ship you shoot to end the level on The Pillar of Autumn from the Reach Campaign. Just assumed thats what it was.

I'm honestly just shocked that they fed in to exactly what people had expected them too. Just the title Halo 4 sickens me. The ****ing trailer just demonstrated the stereotypical view of Halo and what it is not going to become I guess. It feels like a satire. I don't know, maybe I'm over reacting, but I seriously enjoy the Halo games, especially their lore (Besides Reach :[ ) but this is honestly what I expected from my thirteen year old self when Halo 3 first came out. WOW MASTUR CHEF PEW PEW HE ISNT AFRAID OF ANYTHING. I mean c'mon, even the ****ing title, Halo 4, ****, just terrible. As for Halo:CE remastered, I don't really see anything wrong with it, just the multiplayer looks like Reach and all.
@Cheese, I'm assuming that you get two discs for buying the CE remake, one being campaign and the other having seven multiplayer maps. ODST for Reach pretty much. EDIT: So are we gonna get sub-forums for these two?
That is actually exactly what I was thinking after I posted my post and thought about it. The remakes looks pretty good though, maybe next we'll get a title update.
You are definitely overreacting if you find a problem with "Halo 4" as a name. And what do you expect from a teaser? Master Chief cowering in the back in fear? Also, the multiplayer looks like Reach because it is.
For me that name Halo 4 has been used sort of like a meme these past years like something that would lead to a rick roll or something. Why not just name it Halo _____ insert some other bullshit here lol. Everything is ****ed up to begin with anyway, being that Bungie officially closed their Halo trilogy yet this will pick up where they left off. Plus I mean dude, look at any other Halo teaser, I find it way better than this, also being I've honestly gotten chills from other teasers from the music to the raw visuals. This looks like a Michael Bay teaser, with some **** YEAH MAN HES MASTER CHIEF bullshit. I mean the ****ing ending of Halo 3 is probably one of the most controversial things in the halo universe, and they just pick it up like this? Bungie has set the standards high even for Teasers and what they expect for their game to show, and being that this is to follow in their footsteps I can say it's not. And I know I am taking everything seriously, but I thoroughly enjoy this series and I feel it's honestly going to turn into a call of duty, if it hasn't already. While I love the multiplayer, the campaign was also what made the Halo games great in their 'prime'. Even that whole jetpack ****, never used it once in the entire series, oh wow he has it now! I don't know man, I don't know.

Lol dude you're blowing the **** I'm blowing out of proportion even more out of proportion. The title peeve is obviously just me, just hearing so many times it just seems really cliche. I don't know how I implied I wanted him to be a *****, I mean all he did was dodge some ****, which was utterly useless for the first Teaser of the game, along with the jet pack thing. I'm obviously not saying the game is ruined because he has a jet pack, just how they added it in when it wasn't needed at all imo. As for the ending of Halo 3, I mean dude everyone and their mother has had speculation over it, well I guess if you really enjoy the campaign that is. It really doesn't even follow through with what we saw, some forerunner looking planet. I think what I'm really getting at is that this whole teaser was honestly unneeded. Same place we left him off, just doing some useless ****. Doesn't really give the Halo vibe to me at all. Again this is my whole opinion, and apparently you think I'm saying the game is terrible already, when I'm not. I'm just not satisfied with this trailer, even if it is just a teaser, there's nothing of value or speculation, which if you have any brains, you should put in a trailer.
Compared to the MW3 teaser, its actually entertaining. And there is something of value, THEY ANNOUNCED THE ****ING GAME.
I know this is just your opinion and all but IMO I think it will be fine. Halo 4 is fine for a title, I mean the reason they named it that is because it is a direct sequel. 343 Industries knows what they're doing, and a decent amount of them used to be Bungie employees. Just relax about it, all we can do is wait.
I was mildly worried about the transition, but ever since 343 have taken over, they've done nothing but improved the game and worked to give us what we ask for.
The announcement was done pretty well too. I was disappointed at the end, and it looked to be over. And when he mentioned "A new trilogy", I definitely didn't expect Halo. But boom. I'm also insanely excited about Halo Anniversary, but Halo 4 has me pumped.
