Remake Altitude(Ascension)

    The best way to balance the sniper, which is commonly used on MLG maps, is 1 spare clip with 120 second respawn. It does wonders to map flow and is necessary to implement it this way due to the ridiculous ease of use and anti vehicle power. This should be the standard placement of snipers and I use it on this map. In turn what it becomes is a constant rotation around the map due to the different weapons and dynamic spawns. The map flow is much better than it ever was on Ascension or Pinnacle and one match on it shows. The sniper's presence on the map is strong but short lived and the map rises to its full potential.

    That kind of change is underrated. Having less ammo in the sniper allows you less time to camp and more time to move around the map like you were meant to in the first place. I also think that having a Banshee is a pretty good idea. Without the Banshee, that area is commonly camped in. With the Banshee, a player will occasionally move over there, but only when the Banshee spawns.

    I kind of see some changes from Pinnacle but to me the concept of making a remake of a map already remade is just pointless. I'm sure other people have downloaded and enjoyed it but that's just my opinion.

    Pinnacle is not a remake, its an abomination which I remedied.

    Thank goodness you did this. It always bothered me seeing the big tower and banshee spawn floating without support structures..

    Lol yeah Pinnacle looks really dumb and artificial with the way the buildings are placed... whenever I look at big tower, well... its not really big tower

    Ascension was probably my favorite map from Halo 2. What you've done here is a pure aesthetic makeover, but why wouldn't you mimic the original gameplay? What makes Pinnacle and Altitude different from Ascension is one thing - the Banshee.

    The banshee completely breaks the map. The only counter is the rockets and they are made completely useless by using a barrel roll. The mechanics in Halo 2 kept the banshee in check but in Reach it is severely OP mostly due to the banshee bomb.

    The changes are NOT purely aesthetic. Rocks are placed properly on the map like in Halo 2 which nerfs Big Tower's superiority which it has on Pinnacle. Rocket pad and Blue spawn pad are actual circles now which opens it up and makes it less cluttered like it was in Halo 2. Everything is an improvement over Pinnacle and true to the original sans the banshee which is OP.

    I have downloaded your map and I have seen their are some rocks unused, so I tried to improve even more your amazing map, I think it can be even better than it is already. ;)
