shuman, you're the only person in the world looking forward to Real Steel, and you might be the only person in the world who will see it. ahhah. also the music in that hanna trailer is awesome.
Real Steel looks good enough. ****, I know a generic action/robot movie with possibly a laughable story and two dimensional characters when I see one, but they're entertaining for the two hours they last.
Someone give me more movies (Or series) to watch. I want to compile a list for the summer. I recently watched Donnie Darko and Sunshine, next up is Firefly and Serenity. After that, Gattica and Moon, as requested by Shuman.
My recommendation for your list is Mary and Max. It's so underrated. YouTube - Mary & Max - Official Trailer‏
The first season of that show was so good that I watched seasons two and three on goodwill alone. I gave up entirely 3 episodes into season 4 and wish I'd stopped watching sooner. Other quality TV series I've finished and would highly recommend: Californication, Mad Men, Spartacus. There's probably more but I can't remember off the top of my head. I've been partway through season 4 of Dexter for well over a year now... I really should just finish it so I can say I did. Once I knew the end of the season would have a big twist though, it was super easy to predict what that twist would be, but I kept watching until someone spoiled it for me and I found out my prediction was correct. I no longer care that much.
that sucks that you had that spoiled for you. i didnt know anything about it and it surprised me. dexter was a good show, but season 5 really let me down.
The first season made it seem like the show was going to go to bold and interesting places, then it didn't. I ended up stopping midway season 4. In no particular order. You may have seen some of these already. Reservoir Dogs, Anchorman, V for Vendetta, Princess Mononoke, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Prestige, A Scanner Darkly, Children of Men, 500 Days of Summer, Brick, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Hot Rod, No Country for Old Men. Arrested Development, Cowboy Bebop, Veronica Mars, The Venture Brothers, Frisky Dingo, Archer, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Black Books, Dollhouse, Freaks and Geeks, Human Target, Terriers, Party Down.
I'm glad you guys are talking about the new pirates movie and not about the theft of content via torrents etc. That would be something we look down upon because disussing illegal activity online isn't in the site's interests. Anyway, I saw the new hangover and I like it but it didn't come close to the first. It lacked the element of suprise the first had. Still worth a watch IMO. I Enjoyd it.
