Question about map I found with 100 walls

I came across a map that had what looked like hundreds of coliseum walls on it. I thought, well now I can create two air craft carriers, even bigger than the one I created in flight deck (which maxed out the coliseum walls). but I also want to know how am I limiting myself with this map here and with bungie?

any one know, please reply...

 

The map with 420 something coliseum walls is a modded map. It is against forum rules to use or post a map made on/with this. Hopefully this cleared some stuff up.

 

you are not allowed to post a map with modded content such as 100 walls and so on, on this site.

But I still build epic maps with them. I got 237 coliseum on my modded map

where can I get that map? just for fun. I just like to build huge maps.

 

The above post is correct, however I am pretty sure the one with 100 walls is glitched as I have heard about it before. The original author of the canvas was contacted and it was explained by him how it occurred. As this one did not use mods it should therefore be allowed but you might want to wait for the final word from a mod/admin.

 

Rorak Kuroda has a copy, but you can't download it anywhere on this site. Good luck though. It's a lot of fun.

 

Glitches are allowed, mods are not. Can you give evidence that it is a glitch and not a mod, ie how to do the glitch?

Need to know because otherwise, we can't verify that it isn't modded.

 

It hasn't been recreated yet, but according to the author, he lagged out of his party and when he loaded up the map again, all of the walls and warthogs had doubled from a side effect of the lag, so he made a canvas out of it. It is widely accepted that the 100 wall canvas is caused by a glitch, while the other is clearly modded.

 

So I assume that the map I am using is modded. There are so many walls I do not know that I want to spend the time counting. 420 sounds right. And quite a number of coliseum windows too.

But my question now is how does one mod an XBOX file?

 

Hello, yes I think everyone has had a mess around on the modded maps, I got loads, with lights, walls, one withe 100 grids. You are allowed to publish to your fileshare, as there is nothing wrong with editing others maps, but they will be scorned upon. I made a huge ball out of the walls map. But I would never publish. It is good to know that they aren't allowed to be published on this sight.

 

i love how you used "420" out of all the number.. you picked 420.. i love you man. your epic... and yeah, everyone has those maps, not allowed to post them on forge hub though cuz we is tight w/ bungie... and bungie does not approve of screwing up their game... there is toy mods, kill ball mods, light mods.. and my fav the wall mod

So now I am left with two questions.

1. Why is it the policy of ForgeHub NOT to endorse modded content in any way? What are the issues that drive that policy? Does playing with modded content risk my XBOX with Bungie or Microsoft?

2. Is there a forum/site that allows modded content and has a different policy?

 

It violates terms of service and can get you banned from XBox Live. I assume that's why Forge Hub doesn't endorse it in any way - they don't want you getting yourself banned or possibly doing the same to other forum-goers here, and since they are a high-profile site, they don't want to be seen as supporting something Bungie and Microsoft are opposed to.

Sorry, but this conversation has gone on long enough. Until the 100 wall glitch can be replicated onto other maps, proving it's a glitch and not a mod, ALL maps using that "100 walls and 16 hogs" map are considered modded maps.
