I have remade the map CHECKOUT from the Gears of War 3 beta. This is the very best remake you'll find of it, because I built it while the beta was still live. Upon testing this map, local staff member BlackTheorem was even trying to use the controller layout from Gears because it reminded him so much of it. Out of the 4 maps in the beta checkout was the least appealing in personal opinion. It was aesthetically pleasing but a filthy and clustered you know what and a breeding ground for bad kids with sawn offs. Even with a stacked team this map was reffered to as noobout, chodeout, and other provacotive terms which I won't get in to. Can say much though, you captured its layout with an overall precision. One note. I doubt that the grubs would make successful housemaids. Use of edges of rock to represent the filth and tin cups for ivy could add more character.
Ah, checkout. I loved playing on this, the aesthetics were great and the gameplay was fun. Except when BT would hide behind the counters and suprise me Anyways, this was well forged and one damn good remake.
You may not believe this, but this map is basically maxed out. I'm out of blocks, bridges, inclines and tons of other ****. I'm also basically outta money. I know it's a little grey, but I had tons more aesthetics that had to be axed to complete it. I did what I could.
