This map just looks awesome I love the rock pond and of course the new layout. I haven't got a chance to play it yet but I'm liking the weapon setup and it looks like it would play great. This is one of your best looking maps yet, keep up the good work.

Did a fly through, and this one of the coolest maps I've ever seen. My only beef is that 160 is a weird respawn time for power weapons, I'd just bump them up to 180 and give each an extra clip. Then again I haven't actually played the map so I wouldn't know exactly how much impact they have.

    Either way, definite matchmaking material.

Well, it really has a lot of differences compared to CSO, take a better look. It was inspired by CSO so if it looks somewhat the same, it wasn't an accident. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks, after I added in the grav lifts to get to the top, it really made gameplay more fun while also adding a different touch to separate it from CSO. I tried to go with a little bit different of a weapon set just to see how it would play out, and it seems it worked well with the map, thankd again.

Thanks Timmy, I went all out on this post to try to make it look pretty, but it still doesn't seem to be enough. I always put a great amount of work into my map to try to compete with all of the other amazing maps out there, but haven't quite got it right, yet. I thought many people would enjoy a nice water feature and it also makes this map even more unique. While the glass window is great to look through, it also causes no framrate problems. Thanks for the comments.

Best looing maps yet because of your inspiration..Really thanks, I'm glad you like it. Gameplay, is pretty fun and intense. Spawning works well too, even with FFA. Thanks for the support and comment.

Well, thanks. For power weapons, they seem fine when I had some tests on this. Spawn times on them weren't too long or too short. I felt that they needed more ammo, but many people advised me to lower the clip size. If you get some games on this, let me know if you've any problems with spawn timing. Thanks again.

Are you an architect? Because every single one of your maps is an architectural masterpiece. The balcony in the first pic of the screenshots section is amazing. You make everyone on this site jealous each time you post a new map. Great job.

I gave this a quick download a few days ago and have played a few customs on it. Seems to be a sold layout, and this is one of the first maps that I have seen use the windows in this way and not make the rest of your map to crowded! I have downloaded to many maps that have these windows, and so much potential, to find out there is framrate issues and clutter! Sold map bro!

I wish I was an architect ;) I tried to make a very unique balcony by adding a little balcony to that one. I think it adds a bit more creativity to the map and I'm glad you like it. Thanks for the kind words.

Thanks you for download and actually playing on it then coming back and giving me some feedback, I'm really glad you had no framrate problems, as Tom and I tried really hard to relieve the map of such impurities. I'm glad you enjoyed the map and thanks for the comment.

Must have missed you posting this one. Anyways I like the map a lot. The inspiration from CSO is obviously there, but you improve on that design in just about every way possible. There is no frame rate lag, the flow between the two levels is very good, and the aesthetics are still very well done.

I for one prefer the longer respawn time. The map's size calls for longer respawns so the map isn't always fighting around the weapon waiting to grab it again. Besides I'll take a dmr duel over getting killed with a power weapons any day.

Still my favorite map eightball has done!

Thanks man, I'm glad you like it. While framerate was an issue at first, with the help of a friend, we managed to remove that issue almost completely to the point where it didn't effect gameplay at all. As for aesthetics, I wanted to mix in some rocks with the map to break up the ugly bland walls and I think I manged to do that quite effectively.

I played a 1v1 on this with Arctic Hunter and when we had the power weapons, we were not overpowered due to the fact of the small clip size. Without it, Arctic would've killed me with the rocket launcher constantly and it would have been no fun. So, my point is, low clip size can actually benefit you in many ways and make gameplay more fun and enjoyable.

Maybe this is just a personal belief of mine instead of a true theory, but I think if you have to take steps as drastic as giving a weapon a respawn time of almost three minutes, but limiting it to zero extra clips, the weapon probably doesn't belong on the map in the first place.

Anyway, finally got a game in here. People were absolutely terrified of rocket spawn, everyone who made a break for them got gunned down pretty quick. Top is very much the dominant part of the map even without the help power weapons, I'd move both power items down low. A custom OS at rockets might be better. Then shotgun should be placed in bottom lobby, by big lift. Up top, maybe an evade at former shottie spawn.

That's my 2 cents. The aesthetics of this map are absolutely nuts though, it definitely does not feel like we're playing in just another FW map.

It's funny you mention people fearing the rockets spawn, because every game I played the rocket spawn was not feared by any of the poeple I played with on this map. I also think that you don't need 4 rockets in a rocket launcher or more. It's just not fun to be killed by power weps 24/7.. A low clip size is a good idea for everyone to do on their maps. Unless it's a BTB map or something. I agree the top was a main point of action..I don't know about "dominant" but it was a main POA. I appreciate the comments and feedback. You're one person I know I can count on to give me some feedback now, thanks.
