I haven't played infection in a couple of weeks, and in one of the first games I play today, I get betrayed THIRTEEN (thats right, THIRTEEN) times by the same person. Not one option to boot. So in the next game, I betrayed everybody I could find to see if it had been removed. I was amazed that it actually had. So for the next five or so games, I had at least ten betrayals in each. Is Bungie a team of monkeys and hairy lemons? WTF Bungie? You can do better than that.
Yes but they are cute monkeys and hairy lemons. Yeah a lot of the stuff on matchmaking doesn't work so well. My opinion is they should make some challenges based around parties in custom lobbies and less matchmaking crap.
I think they did it to remove the thing where when someone kills and is killed by a zombie at the same time and it counts as a betrayal and one person gets to boot.
THIS is what I'm talking about with the broken kill trade window being so obtrusive. Bungie obviously acknowledge it if they've made this change, I really hope that 343 fix it in any possible TU. I agree that this seems like seeing something broken about the game, then breaking it in a different (and tbh even more obtrusive considering how many griefers there are in Reach) way just to fix that.
Exactly. The solution to the problem created a bigger problem. Maybe 1 betrayal every few games occured because of kill trade. I've gotten betrayed in almost every infection game I've played lately.
Typical of Bungie though. Instead of going in and fixing the actual problem they do a botch fix of the symptom. The whole melee system in Reach is ****ed.
You know at one point I was trying to make a gametype titled Betrayal that was basically infection but where the survivors could get points for shooting each other and remained human upon suicide.
