    Restoration

    Map Description
Restoration is a symmetrical, arena style map heavily inspired by Assembly from Halo 3. It best supports 2-10 players and works well for Team Slayer, Multi Flag, Neutral Assault and 3 Plots. Sprint loadouts work best, as there are already AAs on the map.

There are soft kills on both bases and on the center structure. Leaving the boundaries of the map is an instant kill.

    Weapon List
    1 x Rocket Launcher
    1 x Shotgun

    2 x Concussion Rifle
    1 x Needler
    2 x Plasma Pistol

    2 x DMR
    4 x Needle Rifle
    1 x Assault Rifle
    2 x Plasma Repeater

    8 x Frag Grenade
    4 x Plasma Grenade

    2 x Evade
    1 x Armor Lock
    1 x Drop Shield

    1 x Active Camo Powerup

I have to say it does kind of have an Assembly/Warlock look to it. :)

and actually the location of the active camo almost makes it feel like BackWash (just not as difficult to see in).

I really like it. This reminds me of a mix between Sanctuary and Assembly the aesthetics are nice, the forging is clean and well done. However, on the contrary the weapons and AAs worry me a bit........

Thanks for the feedback but could you expand about why the weapons worry you.

I like It. It is very neatly forged. I think the weapons are fine, maybe just remove two or three. The buildings are large yet simple. The rocks don't look too natural but they serve their purpose. Can you get up onto the roof with jetpack? or is there a soft kill? Nice map.

Thanks, I was never very good at making rocks look natural, so will probably have another look at that wall. There are also soft kills on the roofs and on the center structure.

I don't really want to remove the weapons themselves but am considering removing the AAs. The main reason they are in there is to try and be similar to equipment from H3, but I agree, it does look a bit congested.

Heavily inspired does not equal remake. This map does look pretty good standing on its own. I can see the parts from Assembly and it seems that it would play similarly and you have some creative use of Forge World pieces. So all in all, if I was to ignore the remake, even though it's accurate to a certain degree, this is a great map.

Kind of reminds me of a lot of CQB maps, but this is different, i love that thing, but one things for sure it does kinda remind me of asylum in reach.
