Grav Gun vs Portal Gun? Portal Gun really doesn't have any limitations in the real world (in the labs you can't use it on certain constructed surfaces that seem unique to Aperture). Grav Gun has a weight limit. It's useful as an offensive weapon, especially against portal's defensive. Plus, if you had the portal-handler in your grips, they could easily shoot a portal underneath you.
