Ahem... Basically, you can create any level you want using the editing software that they will release (Probably just a version of Hammer that's trimmed down specifically for Portal 2) and in some way shape or form they will port it to the console. Fairly simple for them to do if they set up a way for you to link your Live account with a steam account or a specific Portal 2 account. Either way, it was confirmed a while back and it's definitely going to happen.
I'm not sure if this is already widely known, but Ellen McLain, who voices Glados and the turrets, is a real-life opera singer. Also, is anybody familiar with The Ricky Gervais show? The basic premise is that Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant (the voice of Wheatley) spend each episode making fun of a really stupid guy named Karl Pilkington. It's utterly hilarious. I couldn't help but think that Wheatley has a lot of Karl in him.
I detest any achievement that requires the other party to never have played co-op. In any case, if anybody has in fact YET to play co-op, please allow me to use you to acquire this last achievement?
guys i think im retarded. i totally didnt notice this the first time: (SPOILER INCOMING) Spoiler im playing through commentary, paying attention to every little thing and noticed Chell's name on this one this time
O ****. I knew it all along. I always thought she was only there b/c of Bring your Daughter to Work day, and that she was knocked unconscious and left behind in the chaos of the GLaDOS "incident." And that's how she ended up there. tl;dr I knew it all along.
Well...during one of the test chambers, GLaDOS does mention that there are 2 other people with your last name on her personnel list, and then says small world. Parents maybe?
Spoiler Did you really miss the part where she says she was lying? I'm assuming she was telling the truth.
No, she was just messing with ya. In the first game when she's supposed to say Chell's name she says "[Subject name here] must be the pride of [subject hometown here]" She doesn't even know Chell's real name. Chell was just an anonymous victim until she fought back.
She said she was lying in a lot of conversations, not that one though I believe. I'm pretty sure any "plot" of the first game is coincidental of dialogue and pretty much rewritten by Labrat and portal 2. Again, the "GLaDOS is lying to you" thing can be said about virtually everything. Doesn't mean it isn't true either Just offering a food for thought nothing more.
