Not sure if this is the most appropriate board to ask this, but I've been looking into buying a tablet as I explore digital art more and wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction. I don't want to spend a terribly large amount, but if it will be worth it in the long run, I would. Anyway, does anyone have any recommendations?

Depends on your budget. The only one I could vouch for, having used it for a few months now, is the Bamboo Pen. Pretty much bottom of the barrel, I got it for a little less than its full price of $70. It does what I need it for, namely increased accuracy and less awkward strokes in photoshop.

If you're willing to spend a couple-hundred, try looking into the Intuos line of tablets.

Thanks! I think I'll get one of the cheaper Intuos 4's, it seems a good compromise. My budget is around $200, so it should just about cover it. Thanks again for the advice!

    iPad of course!!

Jk, I haven't really explored that section of the tablet market, but there's a couple good comparisons on amazon for pen tablets, I once considered buying one, but oh well.
