Complete side note but, for those who might care my website is finally back up again from when I killed the website the first time around. :/ Although I might have killed the first site by accident it's kinda a good thing since we're now running vBulletin software 4.1.2. Surprise surprise the game runs like **** on my computer.
And while I seem able to collect dirt, it takes random number of swings each time and I cannot manage to chop down any trees to get wood. No matter how many times I swing at the thing.

 

Are you holding down the mouse button, or just clicking it? Because if you're just clicking it, you're going to get nowhere.

 

Helped a wee bit. Now it's only as bad as when we were doing the campaign LASO challenge on Winter Contingency. With occasional (read every 5 minutes) moments of being completly frozen.

Won't even load that way.

 

If you leave it for a minute or two, the nearby chunks usually load, so it shouldn't be as laggy.

 

There's also the advanced OpenGL which turns on occlusion culling (or something) and that makes it so it only renders what you see I believe.

 

Hmm. Might try that one.

On, but only if you have a new graphics card. If it is integrated or older than 2 years, I wouldn't even bother..

 

So for there trailer contest, stig and I rushed this together. We really didn't have as much time as we needed because of college visits and studying for AP tests. There was a solid amount of work put in but parts of the middle were done too fast.

Please admire the first shot as it is my pride and joy. The rest is a little meh. The 3d at the end is cool too.

My friend set up a small private server for me and my two friends to play on. Im having a **** tonne of fun.

Probably the most fun in minecraft since Ive bought it.
