Oh that feeling's the best, especially when they betray you after they see it. Like one where I blew up a warthog and got a triple kill. Took one shot and the kid betrayed me. I booted him and he sent me a message whining about me losing us the game. His friend was in the game and stayed through. We won and I sent him a message with the stats. That was by far the best game I ever played. 14-2 on Blood Gulch or Hemorrhage or whatever they're calling it now.

Zow Jrs Ultimate D-bags: List 2

    The Troll
    1a. Noun
One who posts a deliberately provocative message to a newsgroup or message board with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument.

    1b. Noun
A person who, on a message forum of some type, attacks and flames other members of the forum for any of a number of reasons such as rank, previous disagreements, sex, status, ect.
A troll usually flames threads without staying on topic, unlike a "Flamer" who flames a thread because he/she disagrees with the content of the thread.

    1c. Noun
A member of an internet forum who continually harangues and harasses others. Someone with nothing worthwhile to add to a certain conversation, but rather continually threadjacks or changes the subject, as well as thinks every member of the forum is talking about them and only them. Trolls often go by multiple names to circumvent getting banned.

    2a. Noun
Sometimes compared to the Japanese ‘Oni’, a troll is a supernatural creature of Scandinavian folklore, whose race was thought to have carried massive stones into the countryside (although actually the result of glaciers). Lives in hills, mountains, caves, or under bridges. They are stupid, large, brutish, hairy, long-nosed, and bug-eyed, and may also have multiple heads or horns. Trolls love to eat people, especially small children.
The Females of the species are generally kinder and more intelligent, but still fairly hideous.

    The Rager
The Rager is a dangerous human in that it can be any age and take on any form of any language. They may be good people at heart but when on a game, they take a different shape. They never seem happy, they often insult others without thinking, and worst of all, once someone kills them or they get raped or lose in a game, this happens.

    YouTube - angry german kid

    Braggart
This guy brags about everything. He one ups EVERYONE. He has better achievements, better gamerscore, and better relationships. If he's not better than someone at something, that person is immediately labeled as stupid and lame. They cannot be not better than someone at something even though the truth is, He sucks.

    The Convo Hogger
This guy desperately wants to talk. He must be the center of the conversation and when he talks, everyone shuts the **** up and listens or he gets angry. He always has to talk when he wants to talk, or ELSE!

I just hate teammates that quit every time just because they suck even if our team is winning.

I've noticed that if a person betrays you first, you're much less likely to get booted if you betray them back. This may not always be the case, but for the most part I'll track them down and straight up betray them back, get my weapon, and move on. Best part is, they typically won't betray again because they know they'll be booted for sure this time.

I was playing with some of my clanmates on Reach. We were playing Invasion Slayer on Hemmorage and my clan member got a sniper rifle. A randomer on our team was a bit annoyed at this so he betrayed the clan member and took the Sniper Rifle. My friend was pissed at this point so he betrayed the guy back and then the guy booted him. WTF !!!

I hate it just as much as you do

To me, this is an advantage. It pisses me off having to carry my team to the win every single game. Even in Team Classic, a playlist where you'd expect to see mostly veteran Halo players looking for that 2001 nostalgia, you still have to carry your team because instead, it happens to be players who have never played previous Halo titles and want to experience it in the classic playlist.

And I don't blame them for wanting to see what the previous Halo maps were like, but at least make an effort in teamwork and stop spamming your DMR is all I ask. Most of my teammates end up dying because they go their own way in a team game. If you want to work only for yourself and not for the team effort, go to Rumble Pit instead. Sadly, they never listen to this advice and I'll probably be carrying my team until/if I quit Halo.

On rare occassions, I may get a team that, if not using effective teamwork or communication, is at least somewhat skilled. I wish I could go back to the days when helping out your team in every way you can meant more than a meaningless number at the top of your screen to show your supposed superiority.

@Zow Jr. I believe I fall under the 'flamer' category. I enjoy flaming people with bad grammar, boosters who believe themselves to be skilled, people who make "This game is perfect" and "I got banned for no reason" threads, people who are under 13 years of age, people who like bloom and armor lock, people who like Reach, people who use automatic weapons, other flamers, and Gamesager. So yeah, that's pretty much everyone.

Biggest D-Bags on Reach IMO... No specific order.

    1) Squeaky, loud, annoying children.

    2) MLG Tryhards.

    3) Kids who think they're good when all they do is eat shots and pull host.

    4) Kids that apply a negative stigma to all things MLG.

    5) Kids that forge unplayable frame rate lagging maps and think they're amazing.

    6) Kids that shout "can we test my map next" in every custom lobby.

    7) Kids in general.

    8) Trolls.

    9) Stoners that ramble on incoherently, especially the ones with annoying voices.

    10) Any one that plays music through their head set.

    11) Players without mics.

    12) Players with mics but don't use them in a positive way.

    13) Any one that doesn't support the forge community.

I don't mind these unless the kids are immature and complain continuously.

I don't mind it if people are "Try-hards," so to speak, but when they start blaming teammates only, and not themselves at all, that's when I don't like them.

I dislike this quite a bit.

I severely dislike people who do this. MLG is a fantastic community of skilled players and dedicated forgers. These forgers even tend to have a greater understanding of what makes a map good, in every respect of the word.

This upsets me just as much as those who stereotype MLG. Forgehub is a massive community, that allows any member to post content as they see fit. And so when people judge forgehub by the majority of maps that are posted on here, they may as well be judging all of Reach forgers in general.

Frame-rate lag is one of those issues that people seem to sweep under the rug way too often. Honestly, it's easy to avoid, people just don't take the time to use the necessary precautions. (Such as not using specific objects, keeping in mind long lines of sight, Etc.) So I'm totally in agreement with you here.

Oh my god I ****ing hate this so much haha. There's a reason why I keep over 300 custom maps in my HDD; Because I like to host good, stable, and entertaining customs. I tend not to give leader out because often times maps by people I don't know will be pretty bad, and will cause the party to disintegrate. But when there are a million kids asking to test their map, to the point where they're actually getting annoyed that they AREN'T being given leader, my god. I might just slap a *****.

I prefer the term "Immature human beings."

    U mad?

But in all srsness, I agree. A troll is only good when it is a good troll. Stupid trolls aren't even trolls, they're just stupid people.

I actually like stoners, so long as they make the conversation more interesting for everyone involved.

The new Party Chat sound quality makes it so that music isn't as bad, but I still agree. When we tell you to turn off your ****ing music, TURN IT OFF.

They're annoying, but I remember being in this position. So it's understandable, though still slightly annoying.

I do hate it when people just trash talk, or don't talk at all. Seems so pointless to me.

Most people don't even know that there is forging community, so I don't think that these people are D-Bags by any means.

Truth. What annoys me most is when people seem to think the only purpose of a mic is to blurt music or loud TV sounds over the game chat, rather than actually talking. I know I can just mute them to get rid of the annoying sound (and I do) but when playing in the more standard competitive playlists I like to at least try to get callouts going when I see randoms with mics.

When I'm spewing out enemy locations/weapons that are about to come up and getting nothing back even though I can see that my team mates have mics, it's annoying but not the worst thing since plenty of people just don't really do callouts and at least I can generally be sure that mine are doing some good. But some manner of communication even in a friendly sense and when directly addressed would be nice, and when all that's coming across is loud distorted music or TV sound I just have to wonder why they even have their headset plugged in to begin with. When I directly address someone, not in rude terms, just saying their name and asking if they're actually there, and am stonewalled, it's not even just annoying, but actually a little weird and akin to heavy breathing prank calls. Are they plugging their mics in without any intention of saying a single word just to feel they're getting their money's worth or something?

I guess this also covers your 12th point, Schnitz, though I agree with Rorak that your 11th isn't actually too bad. I feel that whether someone wants to use a mic or not is their own choice. Whilst I feel it's fair to put more of an onus on it in some playlists like MLG or Arena, I still wouldn't call someone a douche for not using one. I personally feel that plugging one in and then failing to say a single word is more annoying. I mean, some people don't even own them, you can't demand that someone goes out and spends their own money on something for your benefit. I know people always say 'one comes free with your xbox, use it,' well bullshit. 1) I've never bought an xbox package other than the core or arcade (and I'm on my 5th xbox) neither of which came with a free mic, so I have NEVER had one come bundled with my xbox. 2) Those things are flimsy as crap and you may well have broken it and not wana shell out for a new one.

Notice the pattern? Not all kids are bad. It's just the annoying squeakers that I described in an earlier post. People simply hate kids, sometimes not without cause. But Remember that you and me used to be that loud, annoying ****ing squeaker one day.

Difference between when I was the squeaker and these kids... I was a squeaker playing NES/SNES. Didn't have online gaming like we do today.

Online gaming has been around for a long time. At the time you were a "squeaker", as you say, there were plenty of games with online capabilities for the PC. But I assume that wasn't the point you were trying to make, anyways.

Whether you were a kid at this time or a kid at that time is irrelavent. The human race has not evolved. You could be as much a squeaker in 1640 as you can in the modern day and age.

I don't think it matters how young you are, but i'll admit, the younger people do tend to be the idiots.

For instance, it's not Easter Holidays here, and there are more kids online than usual. And the number of annoying idiots in Grifball has went through the roof.

    Betrayed, betrayed, betrayed, betrayed, betrayed.

You then betray them ONCE to get out of the spawn betrayal trap they've set up, and they message you over and over again insulting you. And 90% of the time their voice is indeed squeaky.
