This is a HUGE DOME blank canvas for looks, and anyone that wants to make a sic map in a dome. It is a 32 UNIT (1x1 Block) diameter, and 18 UNITS from floor to tip top. You can see me in all the images, to give you an idea of exactly how massive the dome is. There is $8250 left for budget, but only 4 blocks. Thanx for lookin!!!!!!!!
Wow, that is one cleanly built dome. I didn't know you could by that precise the the coordinates. Very cool idea and could spawn some pretty awesome maps. Already have an idea.
Great angular craftsmanship. The Dome could indeed be an inspiring forge ground for many people. One thing which I would recommend for your post, note how much budged is left on this variant and include it in your thread. Good work regardless.
Yea, I'm workin on a few different variants. The first I started was a jet pack sword. Also makin grifball dome [br][/br]Edited by merge: Unfortunately I could only use coordinates for height and angle. I had to manually rotate and position them still. I used most of the block category, but there is still plenty of budget to build with. People can still get creative and replace parts of the dome with windows or other pieces to aquire more blocks.
i see a potential grifball map place a few kill barriers and you've got yourself a sweet grifball map
My favorite map ever made only used 23 blocks, and most of them unnecessary aesthetic touches. Failed excuse is failed. Anyways, the dome looks awesome. It could be great for some type of minigame, but that's not really in my catagory of forging. I hope to see something great come of this. Good jobb.
Wow man this is so good, as far as forging goes, this is as good as it gets. Thanks for giving me a look at this map. In blank canvas it also looks amazing. Having forged a ball I can really appreciate just how perfect this is. Every line is bang on. And the look it gives from being perfectly forged is jaw droping. Makes me want to forge better. Top class

Definatly pumpin out a grifball map, I am thinkin about releasing a mini game variant of this map with grifball, hockey, and mosh pit. Maybe somethin custom too. My friend also suggested a Halo 3 Heretic "like" remake. I like the idea and i think i'm gonna do a Heritic influenced map for casual/competitive. [br][/br]Edited by merge: Really? Hehe ! The post above is so funny. Ok with this dome, I noticed when I was messing around that it was so perfectly placed . did you use a Maths formula to place the dome so well. I have just made a dome inspired map out of colousseum walls. And I was wondering if you had a formula to make as I done mine free hand!
Kudos to your creativity, patience and endurance to build this most excellent dome. I don't think I've seen a better one. It's maps like this that make me wish we had more pieces and budget to work with.
This absolutely f**king HUGE inside. How much budget is there left? By the way, I love the way you have created it and then just thrown it open to the public as like, shareware or something. Very cool attitude to forgeing.
I used a formula for the first row, to ensure it would be as perfect as possible. It can only be as good as your starting row (can't make chicken salad out of chicken ****). I made 4 sides on the 90° plane using coordinates then the other 20 sides where free hand: ( If I ever get the time, I wanna make a huge sphere on the wall glitch map. It is much harder to use those collesium walls, because there aren't good guide lines and they rotate themselves slightly when you reload your map. Amyway good luck with your dome timmy. I second that. I think that forge hub should create a map section called "Forging Canvases." And its always so pleasant to come to an already built canvas to create a new map.

Why not turn this into a grifball arena? No more blocks required? EDIT: I took a few minutes last night, added the grifball support, then tested it with some friends. I have the new map on my files share under the name TheGrifDome. Check it out and if you like it post it here on FH. It really is your work, so you should be the one to post it.
I have already mentioned grifball a few times, and i have a version that supports it and mosh pit, i just haven't updated the DL link. I will edit the post when I do. Thanx for your support and feedback.
