    Kizingo Plaza

Intro: Welcome to Kizingo Plaza. This map is symmetrical and is designed to look like a plaza from halo reach's campaign. It's not a specific one, but it's designed to look like it would be in halo reach's campaign. Don't let these screenpics fool you this map has plenty of cover and sightlines when you need them.

As soon as you spawn you will be inguaged in non-stop action that will keep you on your toes and make your heart beat fast, as there are many opportunities to be inguaged in some intense gameplay. I specifically designed this map for gameplay, but a few aesthetics wouldn't hurt, would it?

Almost all stairs are fully-functional and do NOT cause framerate issues. You WILL be able to distinguish the difference between functional and non-functional stairs. There are plenty of natural colors on this map so I felt it was un-necessary to add extra lighting or colored structure.

Download, comment and leave feedback. Thanks.

    WEAPONS:

    x4 DMR
    x4 Health Pack
    x1 Sniper Rifle (Respawn: 45)
    x1 Rocket Launcher (Respawn: 110)
    x1 Overshield (Respawn: 100)
    x4 Plasma Grenade

Hahaha, ohhh man. I was hoping no one would notice. I honestly couldn't think of a better name. I have been searching for months. If you have any ideas of what to name it I will give you credit for that. Otherwise, thanks for the comments I appreciate the support.

Thanks, Jackson. I appreciate the comments. I tried really hard to make this as neat and uniform as possible, without putting too many aesthetics in. I mostly want to base my maps on gameplay but I throw some aesthetics here and there in my maps. Thanks again.

This map just gave me a virtual boner the aesthetics are amazing! Even though trees are becoming more popular in forge maps, you managed to be creative with the placement and decoration around it. Nice work!!!

Oh and you should also call the map: Visegrad square or something like that if you want it to be based off of halo reach.

this is another nice aesthetics map but I think the same thing goes for this map as the park map...little cover, overpowered map, and too small...although this one does have better weapons choices, more cover, and is bigger...

HOLY HUMMUS AND TABOULI this looks incredible! The aesthetics are stunning! This map looks really awesome. I will download and get a game of 3v3 and reply back with what I thought of the gameplay (remind me in a week if I forget).
If only you'd finished this in time for the 2v2 Throwdown competition! It would have been a mighty contender.
Also Kizingo Plaza... ODST much? Lol. Its alright although Kizingo Boulevard was on earth...

Thanks everybody for the comments. Yes this map is named after Kizingo Blvd. But I REALLY tried to come up with something better. My xbox has the RROD and I FINALLY got it up and running for the first time in days, so I needed to post almost all of my maps when I got my xbox up and runnin. So I just had to throw that name on there really fast, sorry. Well, I hope you all enjoy and leave me some feedback, thanks again.

It looks open so I think SWAT and DMR Slayer should be very fun with this. I really like how you set the windows and the tree in the center, not only is it a neat touch but also gives it a more realistic feeling to me. The map is simply really good but you may want to change the sniper respawn to possibly 90 seconds? Just an opinion but other than that, wow way to give a very good look to this map 9.5/10

Thanks for the comments. Although, I set the sniper to respawn 45 secs, because there's only one. So I think it should be fine. Thanks again.

It looks amazing- the forging is really neat and tidy. Do the steps that you have built out of diagonal bridges cause frame rate drop though? I have played on some other maps where this is the case. Good job.

    this looks really nice dude...

however, i'm not sure with the stairs everywhere... they look amazing, just having some stairs players can just walk up and other stairs where players can't is a little too confusing for gameplay.

good job though, it looks awesome :D

Thanks man. No the stairs do not cause framerate issues. I made sure they didn't because I want to ensure gamplay is at its highest. Thanks again.

Thanks Stevo. But I assure you that it won't be confusing. There are very FEW stairs that you can't walk up. And the stairs you can't walk up are not in a position to effect gameplay. Thanks for the comments and concern. Your support and constructive critcism is greatly appreciated.

Hello buddy! Thanks for giving me a preview of this map. I enjoyed testing out this map. I really like the steps and it is interesting and nice looking map! Weapons were balanced and fair....untill you have the sniper anyways lol. Also thanks for helping me improve my sniping skills on this map. Beautiful central piece, very cleanly forged. Stairs are smooth. Nice use of 3 x 3 short. Great work on this map!

I love the aesthetics of the map, especially the center tree. It's also nice to see some stairs that work (I have seen many that slow the character down).

At first there didn't seem to be a lot of cover on the map, but I soon realised there was plenty. Nice weapon choice, good job.

Thanks Kazerra. From the screenpics, you might not be able to tell there is cover, but once you play a game on it you will soon realize that this map has quite a bit of it. I played a few games on it today and thought the open-ness of the map was just enough. Let me know what you think if you get a chance to play on it. Thanks again.

Thanks, I like stairs. The tree really isn't as overused as you think. There are many ways of utilizing a tree and I think I've done it in a way no one else has- In a unique and aesthetic way. Without the tree on this map it doesn't look as nice IMO and it really adds a nice touch of realism to the map. Thanks again.

Well thank you very much. I really tried to make this map look like it really wasn't forged. I think I did an ok job, if you get a chance to play on it let me know how it plays out. Thanks again.

Wow man extremely clean map. I love the aesthetics, the monitors on the columns, the rocky areas, the grass that shows through in a unique shape, especially the stairs. Do you get any lag from the stairs being merged? Anyway you got a dl from me!

Thanks man, I tried pretty hard to make this map feel more realistic with all of the little details and aesthetic pieces. No, the stairs do not cause framerate problems. I've tested this map a few times and everything is as smooth as butter ;) Thanks again.
