I don't think people care what mood you're in...... I don't betray for a weapon. If that guy got the weapon first, he must've wanted it because he thought he was more skilled at using it than me. So be it. If he sucks, and he takes it, just follow him around until he either decided to swap it out or wait for him to die. If he's pulling off some good kills with it, then stop following him and do something else to help your team. You should never betray for a weapon, or for no reason. Just betray a guy who betrays you in a completely obvious way (and even then, only if it's severe).

P.S. What's with the 2-3 commas when you use a comma?

I'm actually really glad this didn't turn into a flame war, that earns you some respect back, and then some.

I've got a good story about a sniper betrayer...

It started with me and two friends in a game of team slayer on high ground. I grabbed the sniper, and found that I was being shot repeatedly by some idiot who thinks he deserves the sniper.

For the rest of the game, me and my friends followed this guy around, casually blasting him with AR shots until he had no shields.

Finally, he snaps, and betrays all 3 of us- we don't fight back.
One of my friends gets to boot him.
after that game was over, with a loss (obviously), all 3 of us made this guy a 'preferred player', and started the search again.

By some amazing stretch of luck, we were on the guy's team again, this time on the pit.

Another 10 minutes of following and shooting him ensues, ending with him sending us angry, hateful messages.

preferring him so you could do it again is as douchey as him betraying you in the first place.

Yeah, but still, it makes the betrayer learn his lesson :p

When there is no hope in winning a game and I have the option to boot someone, I always wait until the last second of the game and boot the guy. Then send him a message with a content attitude and watch him flip out.

    Thats always my favorite :D

In Halo 3, i often would betray someone just to purposely force them to kill me twice so i can boot them. Why? idk. Nothing against them. i just thought it was fun.

you're the piece of **** I was talking about when I made this thread. You and others like you. Just play the ****ing game as a team. if you want to shoot everything that moves, than go play FFA. or better yet, go play something else. please.

I think the response I'm looking for is something like "Get outta my 4chub. We're too good for you here." Yay, I think that fits. Why can't you have fun without ruining other's fun?

If your going to do it, do it in a way that isn't obvious that you're intentionally betraying them. It sucks when you betray someone due to them killing you for a weapon and the get booted from the game.

The two ways I've found to be rather interesting are:

    1) Shoot them but don't kill them and hopefully they will betray you again. Then DAS BOOT! Its rather entertaining to do that, although potentially hurts your team as well due to them being a teamate down now.

    2) I tried this once. A couple of friends and I were playing MM online and my friend was killed for the Spartan laser by a teamate. Therefore retaliation was in order. Instead of the straight forward shooting them to death I waited until they were charging the lasar and then stepped in-front of them as the fired. Not only did the resulting shot kill me the backlash also killed them. Cue a long respawn due to death and betrayal times.
